The design of the hotel and its positioning in a very lively neighourboorhood.
I felt unwelcome as a foreigner by one of the staff members. The manager, Cintia, treated us as if we could be easily fooled with money change and the rate of the rooms just because I was not from Argentina. It was a big disappointment, as for the rest all the other staff was extremely kind and the stay in the hotel was comfortable. But after this unpleasant episode, we decided not to come to this hotel anymore after being treated like that, and we do not recommend foreigners choose this hotel for their stay.

The A Hotel is in a great location with many cafes and restaurants within blocks. The subway station is two blocks away which connects you to the whole City of Buenos Aires. The room was quiet, super clean, the staff was very nice and very helpful with information and calling taxis. Will definitely stay her again next time I come to BsAs!
Everything was great! As a suggestion, I would recommend they explore contacts with day trip services to Tigre and Estancia days out of the city. This would make it very easy to do these things as they would be managed right through the Hotel.

Staff was super friendly, helped us out with all our needs. Room has no fridge, but could use the hotel's to keep some medicine that needed cold. Don't expect anything too fancy, but it has a Colonial Porteño style which foreigners will appreciate. Location perfect close to all major attractions. Breakfast is not included, but close-by coffee shops are excellent, and have more variety and healthier options than regular hotels. We recommend Tea Connection, 2 blocks away! If you come from Uruguay, Prex AR is not valid as foreign card = will charge VAT. Use your credit card, or even better cash in Pesos Argentinos for a great fare.
Decor in rooms a bit gloomy. Weird high windows with no exterior view, only the ones with beautiful terraces in the front, but which are a bit noisy when traffic starts early in the morning.

Excelent location, walking distance to bars, restaurants and stores in Recoleta. Front desk personal always go above an beyond to help out with everything we needed. We were even able to leave 1 luggage stored there for 4 days while we traveled to Bariloche before coming back to finish our trip again in Buenos Aires.
Bathrooms are a bit too small and outdated. AC was central but was not turned on, so it got a bit too hot at night.

Stayed at this hotel due to its close proximity to AEP airport. The staff were great, they let my father extend his room for half the price of the room because of his late evening flight. The location is excellent and the quality is great for the price.
As it’s an older property, there’s only one physical key per room which you have to give to reception every time you go out.

Location is great. The room is a decent size. Shower is strong and hot.
A fridge would have been a welcomed addition. The hairdryer could be better. Brighter furnishing in the guest room would help given its Art hotel name. The restaurant room decor was most unappetizing. It definitely needs a cosmetic re-do. I didn't eat there. There's an excellent coffee shop next door.

The location is very convenient, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. It was nice to stay on a quiet street but still be near key tourist locations. The room was quiet, cool, and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was hot.
The wi-fi service in our room was mostly non-existent and, in the lobby, there was one seat with decent reception. This is a big negative given that tickets, reservations, directions and all communication is digital.

The Hotel is cosy, very charming and appealing to people who appreciate art, architecture, and contemporary resignificación of old buildings.
The bathroom's shower was not very well planned. It's hard to get in an out, leaks water from the shower to the bathroom's floor... Not very well thought, but no big deal either. The water is plenty and hot making up for a rejuvenating shower.

This is a great value and is very well located in a safe neighborhood in about the geographic center of everything. It’s on a relatively quiet street and the prices are excellent, though they reflect the fact that it is an old funky building, some rooms are dated and there are not the amenities of some others. In addition, some of the staff are patient and eager to accommodate when possible. The deluxe rooms are fantastic - have a balcony and are far more spacious than the others, definitely worth it if you can spend the extra. Great restaurants and the Recoleta Cemetery within walking distance. No surprises at checkout - it was actually less than I thought it would be!
This is a facility that requires you to leave your room key behind and you can only get in or out when someone buzzes the door for you, which actually wasn’t that annoying to be honest - there’s pretty much always someone there. The budget rooms are euro-small, dated and some are pretty shabby, though the AC was strong in all but one, which after a bit of a struggle we were able to move out of. One of the three front desk people was pretty annoying at times, and one was just basically unfriendly, but the third was a prince and was quite patient with my less than perfect Spanish - all spoke English tolerably well. Cleaning crew was always very nice.
