This is an opulent hotel that exceeded my expectations. The decor, space, dining room, bar/lounge area where all extraordinary. But, above all, the staff made the stay most memorable! The kindness and attentiveness of the Armenian people is unparalleled!

Service was always up to expectation and breakfast was above expectation!

Prices of hotel shuttles from airport are 5 times the prices of the local taxi companies. It doesn't provide 5 time the service. Most 5 star hotels in this world provide complimentary shuttles or the provided services goes above and beyond. Rethink this please.

This is a lovely brilliantly located hotel It is old world in a sense and we extended our original booking here because of its high comfort level ( bed was cloud like !) and wonderful location. The staff were all simply superb and so helpful when we asked for anything. I loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat ! The breakfast was very good the one morning we chose to have it ( we like variety and being able to eat out in the city or while on tours ) If thinking of super comfort - great location - helpful friendly staff and want to walk Yerevan book this hotel .

We had an exceptional stay at the Grand Hotel Yerevan, and we wanted to highlight the outstanding contribution of PR manager Suzy Ayrumyan. She truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The Eastern brunch organized by Suzy was a standout event. The attention to detail and the high-class ambiance created a truly special occasion. The flavorsome delicacies and impeccable arrangements made it a memorable dining experience. We cannot praise Suzy enough for her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Her exceptional service exceeded our expectations and contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

The location is very central and perfectly adapted to discover Yerevan, at walking distance from the main concert hall and most museums. The personnel is very kind and always helpful : upon arrival in the middle of the night, it was possible to get a real meal. Breakfast is varied and tasty (try the cherry juice !). The wine list is large enough to give an interesting view over Armenian wines ; if you hesitate, try the Toonk areni, or - of course - Grand Karas ! Reception is always helpful to get a taxi or directions for the places you want to visit.

Paying the first bill without receiving the corresponding invoice (but it exactly matched my booking), and getting a very messy invoice on departure day, covering all extras (cumbersome to check and wrongly presented) - even if it was correct in total amount.

Good position in the center , rooms are cleaned and very good staff

the rooms are not well soundproofed, the rooms overlooking the patio bar are too exposed to noises coming from the night bar. they should close the bar by midnight to make the stay comfortable for guests.

It has probably seen its best days as of now but you can feel it is a 5 star hotel and everyone makes an effort to live up to being a small grand hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff wonderful and the location is perfect. I liked the turndown service. All of this at a reasonable price which is why I think it is the best option for this money in Yerevan and definitely much nicer than the high rated 4 star hotels.

the pool was busy with local events on some afternoons and we were not able to swim there plus so much noise with people passing our 5th floor room a lot to set up the events and clear away afterwards - was not pleased as had asked for a quiet room. i didn’t like that our bedroom window looked out into the inner courtyard which was an atrium - with no actual fresh air coming in even with windows wide open. it also made the room feel very dark. this was not made clear at time of booking. the bathrooms only had shower gel in containers that were hard to use and not that clean either. they should provide soap.

I enjoyed the room, the bar area, the restaurant, breakfast, location, staff, spa, airport transfer. The bar area was decorated beautifully for Christmas, it was really lovely.

I needed some Armenian currency and had been told in advance there was a cash machine in the bar. But it was out of order and caused me a lot of stress because I needed to pay a taxi and had no cash.

The staff were very warm and extraordinary. Our luggage arrived only on the 4th day after our arrival( terrible). The staff provided us with such kind assistance and moral support. When the luggage finally arrived, the Lost and Found department at the airport was not able to ensure the delivery to the hotel on the same day( which would make it difficult for us as we planned to go out of Yerevan for a short trip), the staff found the solution for us by asking help from a contact at the ariport and they made sure that we got our luggage before we left for our trip. Their professionalism, resourcefulness and kind assistance touched our hearts. Believe me, you would love to stay in Grand Hotel Yerevan when you have got your luggage at arrival, and if you have not got your luggage at your arrival, you would also love to stay in this wonderful hotel, because they make you feel at home in any case!!! They made my stay in Yerevan one of the most memorable experience ever!
