We were in Braidwood for work, performing at the Braidwood National Theatre, which was mere metres from Cedar Lodge. It was such a treat to be able to easily walk to the venue, there was much tasty food to indulge in during our stay and town itself is delightful. The motel rooms are very comfortable and the key less check in was seamless.

The motel has old bones, with a tasteful refresh, so their is definitely some quirks with sound bleed from the car-park but they have done well working with the original buildings.

Great location in the middle of town. Lovely bright, and clean room. Comfortable bed and perfect for a couple or solo traveller. Easy check- in with code provided by owner.

Needed another powerpoint along the wall or near the bed. I could barely reach the power point in the kitchen nook for the iron. I had to move the room table closer to be able to use the ironing board - which sat on the table. The room needed a bit more of a vacuum under the bed. The 24 hour check-in is great except when someone checks in at 1.30am and is noisy - this is what happened to me. Hotel room guests need to be more considerate.

The bed was great - very comfy and lovely pillows. The staff were great, they made up our room when we wanted; I wasn't quit expecting that. Location is good being close to everything.

The room was very good, a little small but value for money. The bathroom is very small, but did have all the facilities. It was a little noisy with a neighbour talking on his phone.

Braidwood is a small town, so our expectations matched that criteria. The Cedar Lodge was easy to find and centrally located. The room was spotless, up to date, comfortable and amply catered for our needs.

There are no staff on sight, all done by phone, but it worked for us. The room service lady was a great ambassador for the motel. Excellent value for money, what more could you ask.

Cedar Lodge is pretty unassuming from the outside but management clearly know how to maximise what they have. The rooms are both comfortable and impeccably clean with numerous inclusions that show attention to detail. The location is excellent being only a short stroll from the Main Street. Huge value for money and all of our group have said they’ll be back

Please fix the door lock on Room 10, I have stayed in that room before and the problem has been in existence for a long time, just fix it!

The room was beautiful, we had trouble with the first room due to the lock but someone was out in five minutes and we were moved to another room with no fuss. The rooms are beautiful, clean, well equipped and the bed is super comfy. Fantastic hot shower with all the soaps and shampoo you need. It's only a short 2 minute walk into town and we will be back again for sure next time we are in Braidwood. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Excellent location. Just off the main road. Very quiet. Great place for an overnight stay. Close enough to walk to restaurant, pub and IGA. Very close to Breakfast Cafe. Nice clean room. Simple, quiet and comfortable. To me it was / is the best place to stay in Braidwood for overnight traveller accommodation. 1 person or a couple. Room facilities were as needesd. Essential, Tea, coffee, milk / long life in fridge. a selection of soft drinks, wine etc. All you need.

This is a basic, clean comfortable convenient place to rest overnight in Braidwood. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others or staying there again.

Comfortable beds and a lovely space!

The WIFI didn't quite reach our room. The heater didn't do too much to help with heating the room as it was freezing even with the heater on high!

As you drive up to the property you see that is an ‘original’ style motel. But open the door and can see what a great reno job has been done here! Freshly painted, sparkling clean with great beds, linen, towels, etc.Sure you can’t make the rooms bigger, but everything else is tip top - even plates and cutlery! Very comfortable and only a moments walk from cafes, pubs, etc in the main street.

Exterior signage could be better.
