We were in room 7. For the low cost of the room I NEVER EXPECTED it to be amazing but this stay was absolutely awesome...... For so many reasons. *The location was so close to the lake and beach, literally 4 minutes walk and 2 min walk to town centre. *The price was sensational for summer school holidays compared to motels close by. *The room was huge and easily accommodated myself and my 3 teenagers. *The beds were super comfy. *The room was very very very clean. *The standard bathroom soap, shampoo and body wash were absolutely beautiful (lemon/ginger) * the pool was so well maintained and crystal clear water. * Sharon (owner?) Was so amazing and so easy to talk too. It's the first time in my ENTIRE life that a place I've booked accommodation for has called me AND texted me to tell me the room was ready early if I wanted to check in earlier!!!! HOW CAN YOU FAULT THAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ill be back again for sure.

Karen was really friendly, helpful and attentive. The location was fabulous and a bonus having free parking on site, the accommodation itself was super clean and comfortable. It was busy but quiet, couldn’t hear any outside noise from our room. It was also a bonus having the pool.

We stayed in the “family room” which is advertised as a “2 bedroom” this is misleading as there is only 1 bedroom, the living/dining has a bed in it which, which was bizarre as we all had to lay on someone’s bed while chilling out as there was no lounge. Would have preferred a fold out couch so there was somewhere to sit.

Clean towels on day 2 without requesting them. In fact it was quite unnecessary but a nice gesture. Friendly Manager, Karen, and friendly staff. Spotless room and bathroom and excellent location, handy to restaurants and shops.

Did not realise that the property was on 2 levels and we were in an upstairs unit. This in itself is more pleasant than having a ground floor unit but I found the stairs a little difficult especially having to take up a heavy suitcase. I am 80 with a recent knee replacement and my husband 75 and we managed quite well but a choice of levels might have been good.

Staff were great, rooms were clean and spacious. We go to Forster on a regular basis and needed a one night stop over on our way back down the coast. Is in the heart of Forster shopping district and beach. An easy walk to the pub, shops, beach and jetty nearby. We missed out on using the pool yet would be fun for a splash in the warmer months.

Some late-night noise outside on the streets in the early hours of the morning quickly fixed by closing the windows.

The room was in pristine clean condition for its outdated look. The room was spacious for a family of four and beds very comfortable with extra pillows on offer. It was extremely close to the Main Street and main beach in Forster so we were able to park the car and walk everywhere we needed to go.. We were very happy with choice at Forster motor inn.

Was a little worried about the above noise, of dragging chairs, and small children running above us, but can’t recall it lasting past 10pm.

Sharon and Brownie are lovely people very accommodating,we arrived earlier than expected and were welcomed with no issues. It is pet friendly and no issues at all,even though we have a 3 month old puppy.. 🐕 Set in walking distance to everything you need.Plenty of restaurants ,coffee shops and many more stores just 5 minutes walk from the Motor Inn. Literally everything you need is at the Motor Inn to relax and enjoy with family and friends or just on your own with a BBQ ,and pool. Can not say enough about our stay here, it was perfect. Thankyou so much.!!🤗

It’s pretty central to Forster and was super clean. It’s a budget hotel (I think 3 stars) but was well appointed.

As it’s 3 Star, you pay for what you get, so if you’re happy with no room service or additional amenities there isn’t much to dislike. I did drop the rating a touch as the bed was a bit “old”, my side was obviously used more than the other side as there was a definite dip

A typical eighties motel being a little tired and in need of some TLC. Room was clean and comfortable. Property is near the centre of township and handy to most facilities. A good place to stay at reasonable rates for a family holiday. It was evident that the families staying were most satisfied with the accommodation. Good access to the premises and parking is well set out with places allocated to each room. Wi-Fi access was great. f

Central location in town and short walk to beach

We were charged a 1% fee for paying for our motel room with our credit card on top of the price Booking.com charged. We don't mind paying the fee in general but it should have been mentioned in the Booking.com confirmation email. The manager told us she was passing on the fees the bank charges her but it's not professional to add the fee without prior written warning.

We stayed in the family room which was very rommy. The shower base was a small bath which was great to give young ones a bath in. It was within walking distance to the wharf and shops. And within walking distance to forster beach and baths. Staff was friendly. We also had a night visitor a tawny frogmouth owl sat on the stairway all night, got close enough to nearly patting it.

There wasnt many restuarants opened, and not enough family orientated ones. We ended up having domino pizzas in flat.
