The Motel is located in an excellent location for a stop over on our way to the snow fields. Trappers Bakery was across the road to visit for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The room we had was well equipped and quite spacious. The bathroom was very modern and the room was very clean with good heating. Parking was easy and right out front of our room.

I found the bed to be too soft for my liking, but I guess that can be a personal preference and others may like that. Although the bathroom is very modern and clean, the glass shower screen has very large gaps in it, causing the bathroom floor to be saturated after every shower we took. We had to use our towels to soak up all the excess water. Minor complaints, so all in all it was a pleasant stay.

The stay at Mercure was exceptional. We landed late in Sydney and drove to Mercure, Goulburn. The staff were extremely accommodating and provided clear directions (as it was close to midnight on a cold May night). The room was clean and exceeded our expectations. The available fast food chains within walking distance was an added bonus for a late night quick bite. I do not write reviews usually, but this place definitely deserved one! Parking was just outside the room and it was a breeze taking things in and out of the car to the room. Well done

Nothing that comes to mind. Wish we could have spent a bit more time there rather than an overnight stay.

The location is perfect as it is a quick drive and easy drive to town centre and close to a bakery, service station and dinner options. Rooms are also fairly modern, up to date and spacious.

Tiles in the bathroom are all gloss, including in the shower, meaning when they get wet are extremely slippery. The shower screen also has a decent gap at the bottom allowing water to spread onto rest of the floor. At least one of us fell in shower and another almost fell in bathroom as a result of how slippery the tiles got. Mattress’ are extremely soft and the best I can describe them as is they are like sleeping on marshmallows. Definitely not ideal if you have back issues

The comfort of the bed was excellent, one of the best beds I have ever slept on outside of our own. The room was very spacious and the room and bathroom very clean. The staff at the Mercure Goulburn were exceptional. Friendly, polite and extremely helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent. The heater worked well which was good as it was 6 degrees outside.

The couch in the room was tired and peeling. The curtain was a little tricky to pull closed, but we managed and it needs a fix at one end. Otherwise the facilities were excellent.

We stayed in room 169. The location is great! Right at the petrol station, Big Merino, McDonalds, Bakery and other take aways. The room was spot on for us with 2 small kids. The split system in both rooms is great. Full kitchen. Double sink bathroom. Honestly, ticked all the boxes. The staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast was great value for money. Had everything we needed! We will be back for sure!

location was perfectly situated, staff friendly, beds so comfortable, room was very clean, quiet and had almost everything needed when staying away from home. would definitely stay here again and recommend to any traveller.

Didn’t provide the traditional Gideon Bible, which is disappointing when you expect to find one when away from home. some people still read the word of God so I suggest it’s returned to the traditional drawer by the side of the bed.

Large room with good appointments and the restaurant food was excellent. Large bed was very comfortable.

I had a fall in front of the room which was due to either oil or detergent residue hidden by the wet surface. This did not do my current back issues any favours. It was witnessed by the woman in the next room who was sitting on the bench having a cigarette. I reported this to management but this still had not been rectified by the time I checked out the next day whcih was disappointing as this would likely be an issue for other clients

Lovely accommodation. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful (especially when trying to arrange early check-in). Had breakfast included and it was very good, excellent selection of options and lovely bright dining area. Great location, very convenient.

The bed had a little bit of a dip in the middle and the pillows weren’t the most comfy but was fine for one night.

Perfect location just off the freeway. The room was very clean and comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable and provided a great night sleep. The breakfast was reasonably priced, delicious and plentiful. Our interactions with all the staff we came across from reception to restaurant for breakfast were polite and very helpful.

People are allowed to smoke in common areas. As the doors are very close together someone from the next room and smoking next to you means that the smoke was able to be smelt inisde my room. This gentleman also sat outside his room, next to my door smoking and having a drink (not that the drink was a problem) until well past midnight. The smell of the smoke was very noticeable in my room and I did not feel comfortable having him there at that hour of the night as I was travelling alone, which could be my problem and not the hotels. Still it would have been preferable to have a designated smoking area well away from the rooms.
