The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere. We were staying with our two children and having a two bedroom suite was perfect. They even provided a travel cot with no charge which was great! It would be perfect for a family or even two couples. The recent renovations were lovely and all of the stylish touches just made it feel like you were staying in a boutique hotel. It was really easy to check in and out as well. We were so impressed!

We stayed on a Friday night and the noise from the pub was a bit noisy, it didn't bother us but it might bother a really light sleeper.

Great location on the main road for me just passing through town. This was a quiet time of year, usually there would be a little bit more buzz on the main road. The rooms are quiet, clean, comfortable, stylish, newly refurbished and practical. I have stayed here twice now on my way further south and loved the place both times. When travelling I try and eat my own food, so particularly liked that they had crockery and cutlery, just no microwave. This is totally self check in so no staff to comment on. Great pub downstairs, noise not an issue.

Would love a microwave to use, nothing else. This is just personal preference.

The property was absolutely lovely. Looked like a recent refurbishment. Quality soft furnishings and really comfortable beds and pillows. Nice new crockery and cutlery and plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Modern bathroom and beautiful toiletries, nice soft towels. We also loved the keyless access. Communication from the owners was excellent.

Our only negative was that we did not realise there were quite a few stairs to enter the suite which was a minor problem for us oldies! We were a little worried about the highway noise, which fortunately was not an issue

No designated car parking. Had to park on Main Street and walk suitcases through shop fronts. Learnt from local there is an IGA at back close by, if no parking on front street can try IGA. Have to activate a code to get into building. Instructions state “wake up the keypad”. We had no idea how to do this. Needed to ask Milton Hotel about how to use keypad. They are not affiliated with hotel FYI but were happy to help. To wake up keypad, tap in middle. How to wake up keypad instructions for dummies like us would be helpful. No spot or shelf/rack in shower to put your own toiletries.

Was a wonderful stay, a perfect location and right above Dangerous Ales. We opted for the shared bathroom which was better than expected, the two rooms that share it still have their own toilet and shower. Check in was contactless with the pin code messaged to us.

We think the carpet must have been cleaned recently and not left to dry properly as there was a damp wet smell in the hallway, a box fan would have been great in the cold to have helped that dry out. Coming from the country and being above the main road it was a bit noisier than we are used to but not an issue at all. The light above our shower did not work and was filled with mould so likely needs a replacement.

The location is close to shops and restaurants, and the room is decorated in a modern style, with a comfortable bed and good facilities. Great communciation from the owners and a very reasonably priced stay!

The room we stayed in had a shared bathroom, which was not as modern as the room decor. However, we had a dedicated toilet and shower for our room, and the bedroom we were sharing with wasn't occupied, so we didn't end up having to share.

Beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Wonderful location within the Main Street with tasteful chosen items in the room.

We stayed on a Saturday night which meant the live music from the pub down stairs sounded like they were playing in our ensuite with the base reverberating through the floor. Out of the hands of the owners but something to be mindful of when booking. We did not have our young children with us so it wasn’t an issue and they wrapped up around 10:30pm

Excellent communication and seamless after hours check-in, lovely welcome letter and introduction to The Rooms, understated but thoughtfully furnished on trend apartment championing local and sustainable furniture makers, high end linens and toiletries, amazingly comfortable bed, a very homely and almost romantic feel with healthy indoor plants and cold water waiting in the fridge, and surprisingly very quiet even though above a pub and on a main intersection. Very sad to have only stayed and enjoyed one night and will definitely recommend and stay here again in the future. Thank you!

A longer stay would have been enjoyable, to experience the fabulous location, high end eateries, brewery, beaches and town, a true hidden gem.... There's nothing I could suggest to improve.

Location was in the middle of town which was perfect! It felt like a modern hotel room, with a lovely bathroom and great lighting. Rooms are on the smaller side but it was zero issue to us - we think the room was fantastic :) Check-in was self-service with a code, everything was seamless.

We somehow had no idea that we were going to be on top of a pub. So after driving 3-4 hours and being absolutely exhausted, the noise from the pub in the arvo wasn't great. However we were very pleased to return after our event to complete silence, was not expecting that at all!

Perfect location in the heart of vibrant Milton. Loads of wonderful eateries, bars, shops and IGA supermarket within a few minutes' walk. Beautiful restored historic pub accommodation with luxe linen, lovely bathroom products, good air con.

You're on the main street of Milton which is awesome for convenience, but there is some traffic noise. For city people this will probably feel minimal, but if you're used to silence at night, bring earplugs.
