This is a brilliant place to say. Great view, big room which was very well decked out, comfortable bed and a big, clean bathroom. A brilliant place to stay and I'll probably be back.

It could do with bedside lamps, that's about all I can think of.

Being so close to the Tavern and not having to worry about drinking and driving. Great walking paths.

The bistro didnt do breakfast .

The property in sitting on the river , with easy walks on level grounds , I like the proximity to the tavern & gold course , ( very easy ) The pool was close & handy to our rooms This is our second stay at this property & l’m sure we will return .

I found the room cleaning was not so good , with missed patches of dusting , the bathrooms are looking old & tired with lots of repairers to the tiles , the repairs do discolour after time which makes one feel a little uncomfortable , my wife said she felt she would like to give th3 bathroom a good scrub . I found the gardens were looking somewhat tired & needed some TLC.

Location was excellent and the room was fine. we have stayed there several times in the past as it is a good halfway location to rest on thew way north.

the complex looks to me that it is starting to require an upgrade. The lighting in the room is very dull. We found it very difficult to see in some areas like the coffee making area. The bed head has head stains on it. The shower screen door hinges are worn, and the door doesn't close properly. lighting in the bathroom is dull especially in the shower and around the toilet. The outside areas require a paint job as the timber beams etc are starting to look shabby.

Lovely being right next to the water. We saw dolphins and sting rays to my children’s delight. A fun playground located next to a lively pub, which had nice food and drinks. The bed was comfortable too. Staff lovely (reception and housekeepers).

Carpet could do with a good clean. Shutters connecting the bathroom to living room were fun, until your kids keep opening them while you’re on the toilet or shower and passer bys get a nice eyeful (great to be able to lock). Free wifi was good but did cut out. Shower pressure was strongest I’ve ever felt in my life… like painfully strong.

This stay has everything in one parcel. The rooms have views of the river and are quite large. A short walk of about a minute gets you to the Shoreline Tavern (part of the complex) which serves meals that you can charge to your room. There is a well appointed shopping centre close by (IGA, butcher, bakery pharmacy etc). One quibble for some people might be that you have to drive a few ks off the highway but that didn't bother me. One major plus was the free Netflix/Amazon Prime available - all you had to do was create a profile. I highly recommend this stay.

Everything about Harrington River Lodge was amazing for us. The late check in was convenient and no hassle at all. The room was great value for money, clean and comfortable. The whole site is beautiful and tidy. Although we never met Craig the host until check out, he was very lovely and helpful with information regarding any future family bookings we might have. Craig was also quick to inform us when we had left some items behind, unfortunately we had traveled too far to turn around but arranged to collect on our way back home. I highly recommend this lodge. Thank you Craig for a lovely experience.

Purpose built village and found the layout a little confusing when driving around. Hotel room was great though, large for a family of 4. Bathroom also large with a bath tube (great as well have 2 small children). Beds are really comfortable, room was clean and well maintained. Free wifi also great! Pool is awesome, resort like feel. Loved that the pub was an easy walk. We didn't eat there as we arrived late. But we were able to grab a takeaway to have in our room. It also has a little village with shops so we were able to grab a cafe breakfast and coffee before hitting the road again. I would recommend and definately stay again. You get more bang for your buck than say staying in nearby Port.

Each bedroom had own ensuite, plus powder room in living area. Free Wifi. Spacious dining and living area.

Kitchen bin was not emptied prior to our arrival. Carpet was not vacuumed (found random items eg hair pin and bottle top near lounge) and kitchen floor had a dead cockroach; wasn’t swept clean. Dishwasher had dishes inside, apparently clean but an unpleasant smell was present. We didn’t use any of the items inside the dishwasher. Left it as is. No complimentary detergent in the kitchen was provided for dishwashing. The showers leak at the bottom joinery. Other minor defects/issues ie one window shutter panel in back bedroom is faulty. Overall though, a nice apartment.

The property was magnificently located on the banks of the Manning River in beautifully landscaped gardens. It was part of a complex including a tavern so dinner and drinks were on the doorstep. The room was large and stylishly designed with a mini garden at the back. Cleanliness and facilities were all first class.

The property is beginning to age and in need of a little TLC. This did not materially affect our enjoyment of the beautiful location.
