We were travelling from NSW to home in Adelaide with our two beautiful doggies and came across this cottage as a stop over. Despite the GPS taking us down a wrong dirt lane, we found Mascot Cottage and could not have been more delighted. Beautiful cool garden for the dogs and us. The cottage was so clean and spacious with toiletries and breakfast included. Liz was amazing having offered a dinner for small extra cost - much recommended - which we ate on the covered deck. Bed is superbly comfortable and clean. I am an insomniac but slept like a log. If this is a location that is on your travels you will be very glad to have made the booking. Cannot recommend more highly. Ps Also some beautiful hand crafted objects for sale.

Beautiful farm stay location with a lovely helpful host family. My only regret is that we didn't schedule more time to fully enjoy the location and everything this lovely cottage had to offer. The family have clearly put a lot of thought and attention to detail into everything about this stay, it was well stocked, clean and welcoming.

It was a little bit out of the way of our trip and added some extra travel time. Entirely my own fault for not checking location when booking. Cannot fault Mascot Cottage at all.

The cottage was beautifully clean, spacious and well appointed. My dog was allowed inside and was made to feel at home. It was rather out of town but well worth the travel. For an additional 25 dollars dinner amd dessert was provided which was an amazing end to a long day of travel. Well worth the extra effort to go out of town!

This is the place to stay if you are looking for something out of town. It's brilliant. The host, Liz, offers a standalone cabin where you are on your own, yet you are only 3 metres or so from the homestead. We had a wonderful evening with a wine on the outside deck, coupled with delivery of our evening meal (an extra cost but only $30pp).

Mascot Cottage is a hidden gem. A longish section of dirt road into the property good condition) and the drive is so worth it. Well away from the hurly-burly and with a yard of lambs as neighbours! it's an idyllic setting. Liz is such a warm and welcoming host who provided (for small extra cost) a delicious home cooked meal that night- a real essential as you probably don't want to trek back into town and home again in the dark. The living area is cosy but the bedrooms are very spacious. We were two couples and were very comfortable. It was all very clean and the kitchen, which is also small, was very well equipped. We unfortunately had to leave early next day as we could have easily settled in for a peaceful few days.

Cottage was very nice. It was clean (mostly), modern and comfortable. Liz was super - friendly and helpful and the added dinner was super tasty and a nice way to end the day after a fairly long drive.

Could have used a clean underneath the toilet seat

It was a beautiful, quiet farm stay. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owners are kind and hospitable - we paid extra for a delicious home cooked meal on the night of our arrival. Will definitely stay again.

It rained and the roads leading up to the farm were not great. But that won't stop us from visiting again.

Mascot was a working property a distance out of town. we did not realise it was quite as far and were treated to a wonderful welcome and a very warm cottage upon our arrival and “can I cook you some diner?” could not have been more blessed or asked for more. Liz and family are absolutely delightful hosts.

No complaints

The cottage was cozy, with good facilities. The Host - Liz was also very warm and welcoming. Liz took the time with my daughter to hand feed a baby lamb, which was the highlight of her stay.

We blew a tyre on the unsealed road. The owner drove out and assisted us. She then cooked dinner for us. The following morning, she arranged tyre check in WW. This was exceptional service and kindness and was greatly appreciated.
