It was great that we didn’t have to wait to pick up a key etc with smart door access as we arrived after office hours and the deluxe rooms were so comfortable and amazing.

I actually love that it’s not in the middle of town as I heard from other people who were staying in town that people we’re partying till after 3am and they couldn’t get any sleep due to loud music - if they had of stayed here, they would have slept like a baby.

We stayed in the new self contained apartment units (not what we originally booked but paid for upgrade on arrival). These were modern and well equipped. They were not really apartments as it is really just a motel room, but sufficiently spacious for 2 people. I was very comfortable and I would stay again. No problems at all during our stay.

Beware the bathroom. It is nice and modern with a rain shower, but there is no shower screen or shower curtain. The result is aa flooded bathroom after having a shower and requires mopping up the water with a towel.

Super friendly staff, very helpful, nothing was a problem. Have stayed before, love the quiet location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hosts will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Just a couple of very minor issues, lack of toiletries such as hand soap, shampoo etc, and also the hot water in the shower seems to take forever.

Floor to ceiling windows take in the expansive view of the Tablelands, great choice for a few days to explore the area as Atherton is the hub of the Tablelands. Very convenient being on a main road but set far enough back so there was minimal road noise. The room was exceptionally spacious and perfectly set up for self-catering. Beds were really comfortable and with extra blankets for those relatively chilly Tableland evenings. Dedicated parking for each unit made it easy to come and go. The complex is really solidly built so there's no issue with noise from neighbouring units.

On the edge of town, set back from the road, the motel is very comfortable with big sliding doors looking out onto a patio and garden with a distant view of farmland. So lovely to have a wardrobe and ironing facilities.

The bathroom basin was an original and as such, was stained a bit with age.

Rooms were spacious and clean. AC was cool. The lady at the reception was very friendly and recommended us local places to visit for our dinner. In general our stay exceeded our expectations. I would happily recommend Atherton Motel for people who are thinking of accommodations in the Atherton QLD area.

Lovely clean new spacious room. So glad we upgraded. Awesome view of the tablelands. Will definitely recommend & use again. Hopefully our suggestions will be considered. (Coffee pods need to be replaced on service)

Only coffee pods were decaffeinated which is pointless coffee 😂 Shower very touchy with hot & cold so not very pleasant. Little bit overpriced for location. Bed very firm & 2 king singles pushed together to make a king bed. That’s ok but it needs a mattress topper on top so not so noticeable.

Room was excellent for what I needed. Bed very comfortable. Shower is open and made shower mat very wet; flooded room also. No breakfast facilities on site,

Lots of water pipe noise especially around 4ish went on for quite a while. Happened everyday made me wonder if it was automated. Room cost a little on the high side.

There was no breakfast option.

There was no working fire alarm in room. It was also difficult to read in bed as there was no bedside light above the double bed. One light on the left hand side of the bed, but it was not enough light to read on the other side of the bed.

The bed was comfortable the room very clean and smelt lovely and fresh. Appliances all worked, unlike some other places that we have stayed at. A nice size TV for relaxing at the end of the day. The host, Caroline is amazing so welcoming and friendly. The Chinese restaurant next door was very good and so convenient.
