I had a fantastic experience at Black Rock Inn. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an apartment. The late check-in process was seamless, with excellent communication from reception and easy access to the room. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, featuring a large balcony that added a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, and I have to say, the pillows were perfect—a rare find in hotels! The shower was generously sized, and the entire space was spotless and quiet, providing a peaceful stay.

Easy, walking distance to Mackers.

Was extremely disappointed to see the 'filth' of the stairs and the landing outside Room 303. Concrete was heavily stained with spilt liquids and was very dirty. I strongly suggest that the Facility Manager inspect the area and have it cleaned. First impression was poor as I had to put my clean luggage and person baggage on the area to unlock the door. Remained unchanged for the 2 day stay. Not a good look when fellow person's have to access their room walking over the area. No air con in spare room. Couldn't find a ironing board to iron my clothes. No shower gel in main bathroom 1st night of my stay and had to wait till cleaner arrived Saturday morning to request shower gel.

Excellent unit - very clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurant food was delicious and good value.

Only down side was the couch in the room was a bit ick - could use a fabric that wasn't so - ick,

Staff service - Ok, some more required in this space from bar staff - keeping up the flow of requirements when things are ready for topping up. Young staff, going ok.

This was a very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with a large lounge/dining area. Aircon worked well.

There was no aircon in the main bedroom. I was able to open the louvres to the lounge room and have the aircon in there on all night.

This lil gem was so central and within walking distance to all the fast food places, pubs and shops. We were upgraded by the lovely staff and given the 2 bedroom apartment which was HUGE!!! Everything was so clean, the air con was icy cold, the beds and linen were comfortable and the showers were huge as well. The kitchenette had everything you could need and the staff were so bubbly, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. A very laid back, quiet, comfortable stay. we will be return customers

Nathan was very helpful and friendly. Kitchenette was well stocked for microwave dinners and a quick brekkie.

A smart TV would suit us better. We watched a movie on the laptop!

Easy check in and check out. Chef was an absolute champion and the meals were amazing! Room was great size.

Nathan, the manager of the property, is courteous, friendly, and always helpful. I recommend anyone travelling to blackwater to stay at the Blackrock.Inn.. Clean rooms, nice and quiet. Spacious rooms, with all the facilities needed.
