I was extremely happy with my stay. This was not a planned stay. The reason I had to stay was the floods that blocked all the major roads in and out of Bowen. I booked my room only an hour prior to my arrival. When I arrived the staff member was extremely helpful. I eventually received my room key after a very long and stressful day driving. The rooms where very tidy. Shower facility, looked like it had a renovations done to it. I'm unsure when this had occurred. I had to stay another night due to the major roads still blocked by the floods. I spoke to a staff member who informed me the room was free for me to stay another night. I received more fresh towels . The manager informed me, if I needed anything else just to let them know. I had dinner there on both nights and the food and service was great. I spoke to a staff member on the second night if the roads were still block could I stay the 3rd night. After checking the status on the room they informed me the room was free if I need the room for the 3rd night. I did not need the 3rd night but was extremely grateful for the help . I was extremely happy with my service and the rooms due to the biggest floods in 14 years. I would highly recommend them

Staff were exceptionally helpful... Went out in the pouring rain, & got soaked through, to get us some extra milk. Shower was lovely pressure & temperature. Adjoining pub served an excellent dinner. Comfortable bed.

Unplanned stay due to road closures from flooding torrential rain. The 1000% humidity had moisture running down the walls, & the floor was quite wet. But once we turned the air-conditioning on, the wetness soon evaporated. Louvres were pretty dodgy - 1 missing altogether &1 that nearly fell out when trying to close up. No light in the toilet.

didn’t see anywhere in the information given on the place that they served breakfast. So a toaster and kitchen utensils would’ve been nice, so we could’ve made some toast for breakfast. Also didn’t receive password for WIFI. Bed was too soft.

The room we stayed in was a little dated, but honestly didn’t bother us. The beds were so comfy my god, I didn’t want to get up! Quiet little area, out of town but still very close to everything. Pool was beautiful. Rooms were well kept & presented. Decent size tv with access to streaming services, free wifi. Receptionist who I dealt with was lovely & very helpful. Food from the bistro was lovely & great value. Will be back again 😌

We have stayed here several times. Location is awesome, staff are sensational!! Everything is always clean and neat. Our last visit the room was older and needed repair in places, front door for example. Shower, adequate, not as good as other rooms we have stayed in there. Pool area fantastic, the BBQ though, would not cook and eat anything off it. Dirty, rusty, old, very sad.

The room was so comfortable and clean and the staff fantastic from start to finish. Awesome work from the team there, we will be back.

The only problems we had were witnessing other travellers annoy the restaurant staff with outrageous complaints and demands from whinging about the table varnish to having to pay more for the bottled coke. We had second hand embarrassment for what the staff had to deal with.

stayed in room 2 - great location close to beach, room was beautifully clean, bed was super comfortable, staff were friendly. Nice touches like the toiletries and large tv.

I’m usually not a fan of accomodation attached to a pub/hotel but the Queens beach hotel has changed my mind, however it’s something to consider if you are planning on booking. There was some noise from people having a great time (Friday night) but it was just noise and I didn’t hear any antisocial behaviour and we were so tired from our road trip that it didn’t really bother us!

The room was excellent also the bed was great and also the meals at the hotel were excellent ,great place to stay ,I'll be back when I visit my brother and nephews 1in Bowen and brother and nephew in Collinsville, Thank You Enjoyed.

The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. There's a bar and restaurant in the property open till late. Life saver in case you're arriving late in a town where everything closes early. Rooms are far enough from the bar, so you can have a good nite sleep

Close to the beach, golf coarse etc..Bed was comfortable..Friendly staff..Food was good.. Rooms are lovely and quiet..Would come back again..

The aircon was a bit quieter than the last one but still noisy but worked fine..Still had trouble with the shower leaking out of the tiles , but not as bad as first room we stayed in..They really need to look into sealing the outer shower tiles properly before someone slips & injures themself..Coffee sachels same as before,cheap & nasty,would of been good to have some tea bags as an option..
