Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room and bed, great location, room 51 , views across the street to the beach. Tropical gardens, great pool.

The living area did not have a dedicated air-conditioning unit. The bedroom air conditioning did spill out to this area, only just making acceptable, but room 52 (previous visit) does have the 2nd air-conditioning unit, so installing this living area unit would improve the comfort in summer. Maintenance of the ensuite exhaust vent needs improvement, the vent was almost completely blocked and needed cleaning out of fluff. Provide an option of firmer pillows.

The stuff was very friendly and everyday greeting me I seen staff always doing cleaning outside, cleaning paths ,pool etc it was quite, seemed like it was only my family around,when the car park was full . friendly on-site people who live in the complex Bbq area was clean, they provided cleaning equipment and a fridge and freezer and bin in the same area. The pool was a good temperature not to mention we had a ball at the beach across the road.

Quiet beautiful place, unfortunately hit by the 2023 cyclone and there are few contructions along the beach. Appartment was great with a beautiful view to the pool. Pool was great to relax and cool down. Cooking was not necessary as there is the awesome Code Cairns, Strait on the Beach and the very good Pizza & Burger Shop close by. Great beach walking and the hourly cheap public bus (50 cts) to Cairns town just in front of the resort. Great stay and we would love to come back!

This was a terrific resort. The 1 bedroom apartment was roomy with good kitchen facilities. The balcony with seating overlooked a lush garden. The pool was set in a tropical garden, the cleanest I have ever experienced. Undercover parking, plus washer dryer were exceptional bonuses. The bedroom was large with air conditioning. The accessibility of a free library at reception was a nice touch. The reasonable rates made this stay our best so far. Joshua and Ruby (resort managers) were cheerful, helpful and made check in/out seamless. I would sincerely recommend this destination a must.

I stayed for 9 nights in this resort (in beach view room) and am very happy with the accommodation. It has almost all basic amenities you need like an induction stove, microwave, washing machine, dryer, toaster etc. I also used the swimming pool which was a great addition to our stay. The location of the resort was ideal for me as it was close 10-15 min drive (as I had a hire car) to Cairns CBD. Also, because it avoids the traffic lights of Cairns, it took less time to get to other places outside Cairns city centre such as Kuranda Skyrail, Atherton, Port Douglas, Mossman, Gorge etc. I will definitely return again to this accommodation if I cone Cairns again :)

Only minor issue is availability of WIFI and 4G/5G in the area the resort is located.

It’s a beautifully maintained pool area and gardens, the staff were very helpful. I would say a car is a definite if you want to get places although there is a regular bus service a few yards from resort but it stops quite early in evening. There are a couple good restaurants walking distance. A coffee shop. These properties seem to be independent owners who rent out and/or stay in them. Therefore each unit is maintained differently.

The fact that they are individually owned as stated meant that ours was nothing like the pictures and was a bit tired…. But at the end of day it was just a base and had everything we needed.

Balcony and sea views. Spacious and well decorated room. Huge bed. Nice pool. Helpful staff when we asked for a better view and we were allowed to use the pool until we leave the area on check out day. Initially we were given a ground floor apartment with no view for our last night in Australia. However, thankfully staff managed to relocate us to the first floor level, which was much appreciated.

We requested a late check out as we had a late flight but this was not possible. Maybe hotel could consider this sort of request in future if it is prebooked at a reasonable fee.

The pool and surrounding resort gardens were beautiful. The apartment was spacious including great balcony, nice to hear the rolling ocean from the unit. Beachfront cafe across the road was excellent.

Unit needs a deep clean. Unfortunately the little supermarket nearby was closed due to a fire so if you don’t have a car it makes it difficult to grab supplies. All solved of course with the bus stop out front or using online supermarket delivery to unit. Wifi wasn’t great.

The Cairns Beach Resort is a great place to stay in Cairns. It offers a fantastic location, just a few steps to the beach, with spacious condos featuring balconies, full kitchens, and in-suite laundry. The apartments are clean and comfortable, and the resort has a lovely pool area. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for exploring Cairns. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cairns.

The pool was lovely clean and warm, the beach was OK the apartment was adequate the people were friendly and reception helpful and friendly, we found some trips to pick us up from the resort and the buses were regular Also skyrail wasn't far away excellent trip up to kuranda on the skyrail highly recommended

Beds weren't great and although there was a sofa bed in lounge no bedding for it, no tin opener!! 😁 nothing much around to do especially in the evening.
