poop is open and early and late. value for money.

when showering a heavy leak happened outside of the room onto the verandah which made it super slippery to walk on. pillows were not clean and the blanket had cigarette burns all over it. the jug in the fridge had gunk in the bottom of it, the kettle stank and had water left from previous use.

Lovely people who own it. Very accommodating and organised us a taxi to our event on the Saturday night. Extremely close to Dreamworld, and not far from the others. Very clean, lovely pool area. There was a tv in every room. Plenty of spare linen. So easy to get onto the freeway as there are two enterances. Very close to the shopping centre where you can get short stay supplied from Woolworths. So convenient.

It's only for me, the bed was firmer than I'm use to. The traffic noise was noticable on the first night, but then didn't notice it the next night.

This location cannot be beat if you are visiting Dreamworld, Movieworld and Outback Spectacular and other surrounding attractions. The owner was friendly and exceptionally accommodating - he even gave us his own milk when our children needed some! And as a bonus for any South African visitors - he makes exceptional Biltong which you can buy on site. We went back for seconds....and thirds to take away the next day. Really comfortable beds, clean, fresh feeling linen. Very happy with out stay

The bathroom tiles may be a bit dated, but we weren't there for the decor!

our room had plenty of room to allow us to have our portable fridge and bring our bbq in when not using it. The big washing machines and dryer were great! The staff were great apart from the reception person.

We only had room service once (making beds, giving fresh towels and topping up shampoo, conditioner and body wash) in the week we stayed and when we asked about room service we got a smart ass response. It would probably be good when people check in to tell them about only getting room service on certain days or put it on your booking info when people book.

Beds were comfortable and once the doors were closed the traffic noise was barely noticeable. Location was perfect for access to the theme parks, a major shopping centre and the rest of the Gold Coast area. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and there was plenty of parking available.

The only minor thing was there wasn't an information booklet about the inn and it's facilities in the room explaining things like if wifi was available, the nearest food places, hours the pool was open etc. This might have been on their website but if so a sticker or note in the room saying to refer to the website would have been helpful.

We arrived on a Sunday. Grace communicated with us regards check in and key pickup......easy process. She quickly brought us a fan heater when the room's AC unit didn't work on heating mode as it should have. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Keep turning up the hot tap in the shower to achieve your desired temperature (we didn't add any cold) Yes it's a quirky older motel without many facilities in the room but it met our needs for our stay. Thank you.

Not a dislike, but be aware that the motel complex is right beside the motorway.....however the traffic noise abated at night and sleep was easy.

We chose this motel on late notice during the school holidays because it was close to Dreamworld. Accommodating hosts, and a clean and well-maintained triple room greeted us. The microwave was handy, and good sized fridge. Walking across the road to Dreamworld (and giving us the ability to zip back during the day easily) is a big plus of this place. Also, a 10 min walk/ $5 Uber to the massive Westfield shopping centre was handy. Talk to Ed about his terrific biltong/stokkies as a bonus.

Look, it's an old motel designed for overnight stays when in transit, not a long-stay family resort, so with that expectation it is a hard place to fault. Our only main surprise downside was ongoing traffic noise, as it is located between two busy roads/highways. Without substantial work done on double glazing etc, it is hard to see how that would be fixed, but be aware if you are a light sleeper, this might bother you.

Price is great. The rooms are very clean. The staff are also very obliging and friendly. I would definately stay again but come a little more prepared

The noise off the motorway is constant, although there is no kitchen there is also no cutlery or plates to eat off if your to utilise the bbq area so that was a bit of a issue for us

The size of the room was bigger than expected. The Manager who checked us in was absolutely charming, helpful and lovely. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi, kettle, microwave, iron/board, plenty of space for clothing, spacious bathroom, extra chairs/table and the lounge to sit on too!!!

Considering the heat, the biscuits probably would've been better off in the fridge which would of kept their freshness.

It was central to everywhere we went and it was quiet at night. The rooms were not big but not to small for us either.

There was no plates, cutlery, only a microwave and kettle with small cups and a bar fridge so if you wanted to cook whilst here think microwave dishes only and remember to bring your own cutlery, plates, etc.
