The property is above average. BEWARE if you want an ocean view. It may be I read too quickly and saw ocean view then at some point --maybe when I confirmed my desired room--it lists ocean view, river view, or, pool view. You can actually be allocated also to a street view. Read carefully. Possibly they may allocate the lowest cost room to the street view, the next cost room to river view or pool view, and possibly the highest cost room to the ocean view. It depends on what is available as only one side of the building has the ocean view and some apartment have long term tenants. The property is not extremely close to the ocean so the view may be minimal; I didn't get to see it. If you don't care about the view, it is clean and not extremely worn and a pleasant property.

Comfy and cosy apartment, clean and tidy... had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. Full kitchen and bathroom. Laundry also which was a huge high light for us as we could wash our clothes and not worry about bringing dirty washing back! Staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful. Tram was right at the door so super easy to get to and from. Surfers was only 10 min up the road on foot and the gorg beaches were only a 4 min walk! Pool and spa was clean and perfect to cool off in.. Highly recommend to all travellers!

Recommend Palazzo Colonnades for your stay that's great value,a immaculately maintained accommodation complex,secure and peaceful.Greeted at reception by Cassandra who was so friendly and helpful during our stay with where to go what to do.Our apartment was big,well furnished,super clean,very comfortable with great appliances and pool view from a large balcony.The pool,heated spa and bbq area was a beautiful oasis to enjoy,swim and relax with lots of sun lounges, seating and adjacent gym.The tram stop out the front to take you up and down the coast.Beach and the BMD Northcliffe surf club a short walk away with stunning ocean views, meals, facilities with friendly staff not to be missed.

Location was perfect, staff friendly, handy parking, tram stop outside was a gift, pool and spa area were great, overall the property was good. But! Room very dated, crying out for repaint, bathroom well overdue, shower hanging on for dear life and the sofas and table looked liked they’d been dragged out of a skip. Cleaners do a good job though, and we didn’t spend much time in doors. Would visit again (with a different room!)

Comfortable beds, good sized kitchen, tram at door, clean pool that was comfortable to swim in, quite location, spacious two bedroom apartment with a separate toilet, friendly staff, air-conditioning that worked as it was very hot when we were there.

The kitchen was not stocked with a tea towels, dishwashing liquid, sponges or coffee. I think that was a simple oversight thought that was easily correcting by asking at the front desk. They were very obliging.

we enjoyed the convenience of the location, accessible to trams and it was a proper apartment - made me want to move there. there was also a little games room downstairs and the pool and spa was nice as well

the small balcony - no space and the rails are quite low. you have to be super mindful of the little ones when they are outside

The location was excellent situated between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach with Light Rail station right out front and within walking distance to BMD Northcliffe SLSC which has amazing views over the ocean, and also outstanding food.

the place is probably a bit dated but saying that the pool area is very nice. The shower could have done with a bit more water pressure and warmth but overall everything was self contained with appliances and washing machine and dryer.

The hotel is perfectly located, not completely insude Surfers. It's an old building but in good condition, the room was quit ebig, more an appartment, which is good for a stay of 4 days. you can spread out a bit your stuff, not like the small recent hotels rooms. The parking is so easily accessible, the parking slots are very wide. Access to a pool and a gym are a bonus.

Nothing special to report on this area really

Everything was walkable or acceptable by tram. The tram stop was out front. The beach was only a 5-minute walk as was the surf club- great for breakfast and coffees. The pool area was very clean and had a good amount of sun loungers... oh and had plenty of shade. The staff were also very welcoming... so a big shout out to the reception staff. Yes I would recommend staying.
