Highly recommend staying at MacIntyre Motel. Very accomodating check-in staff. The room was very clean, had comfortable beds, the bathroom was modern and the shower pressure was fantastic. We loved how peaceful the motel was, it had undercover parking, plus a clean pool to cool off in and it was just a short walk to nearby places for dinner and shopping. We had plans to stay only one night, but it was so relaxing and the staff were wonderful, that we ended up staying an extra night. We look forward to staying here again.

Really easy to find and check in. Brilliant to be able to park right outside room door. Great location, a short walk to shops. Not noisey despite it being a busy town. Large room, nice table and chairs, good TV. Very comfortable, large bed and good pillows. Very dark at night and quiet, so slept well. Large shower with lots of hot water. The pool was well maintained. We would stay here again.

Stayed during what will be known as the 2022 floods - our original route to Goondiwindi was closed, so we gave the reception a call - the owner (I misheard but I think Brian) gave us fantastic advice that got us there only slightly later than planned, and actually gave us a follow-up call to make sure we were doing okay! The next day he was able to give us some great pointers for our onward travel and a good nearby breakfast spot. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. My partner and I had to do some work (we work remotely), and the WiFi was strong enough for my partner to attend a few Zoom meetings without a hitch. All-in-all, a fantastic stay. Unfortunately we won't be going through Goondiwindi again, but we'd stay here again if we did.

Nothing much to mention - the vehicle access is a max height of 2.3 metres - this really won't be a problem for 99.99% of travellers, though we have a rooftop tent on our 4x4, so we had to park on the street instead. The street however was quiet and felt very safe, and the spot was right outside reception.

The location is great, close to shops and one of the best Chinese restaurants are pretty much next door, we have stayed here 3 times now and believe it is well priced for what you get

They should have bowls, plates and cuttlery as they do no provide breakfast, it would make the stay a lot better to have these if you need them when you get takeaway for dinner or your own breakfast

The Macintyre Motor Inn in Goondiwindi is a great place to lay your head for the night. It’s it the heart of the Goondiwindi business district. A short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. There is onsite parking available right outside of your room. It’s our go to motel when we are staying in Goondiwindi. We highly recommend it.

Always 10/10 Can’t fault it. One of the cleanest motels in gundy. Staff amazing helpful & polite Rooms immaculate as always. It’s one of the only place we choose to stay in while we visit town.

Laneway rooms are noisey of a morning.. but that’s ok. Will just request different location next time we stay

The room was very clean. There was a table & chairs. Also two small lounge chairs. The bed was very comfortable. Cutlery & china were available from the office if required. There was a microwave in the room.

In most places on bookings.com the pool looks huge but is very small.

room was clean, had plenty of space, could put bags on benches at appropriate height, well appointed room, fridge freezer worked, car was near front door.

Freezer in fridge didn't have a door, could not tell what all of the light switches were for, didn't know what the light above the front door was for.

We stayed 2 nights in a deluxe queen room. This motel is above average in cleanliness, comfort and location. The unit was well maintained and everything worked as expected. The bed was comfy and undercover parking provided at our door. The motel is only a few minutes walk from the main street with pubs and restaurants nearby. There is a large Chinese restaurant right next door.

We would have liked some plates & bowls in addition to the cups and glassware.

No cooked breakfast option available however our stay was over Christmas so we did not require this service. Small table and chairs in room to sit for tea/coffee etc. Air conditioning Pool though didn’t have time to use this facility it was an incentive to book a room at this motel. Two bedroom suite allowing privacy while staying together as cater for my parents. Very close proximity to relatives we were visiting.

Toilet seat was ill fitted and particularly unsafe for elderly adults. Only 2 chairs for the table when there were 3 guests.
