Room facilities are excellent. Modern and up to date. Cool. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Sufficient crockery and cutlery to use for a quick self-contained breakfast. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. We had been travelling for some days, so the low cost and clean laundry facilities were very welcome. Most of the motel was booked out for a wedding which meant it wasn't feasible to open the restaurant but room service was provided and the food was excellent. We were travelling through an area with little, and often zero, phone reception. I left a bag in the room when we left. The staff persisted with trying to phone us until able to contact which was very much appreciated.

We have now stayed at Westerns Downs Motor Inn, once head up north and again on our way back down. Both times this Motor Inn has been great. Welcoming staff and our rooms were very well set up and had everything we needed. This Motor Inn is located in a great place and it also has its own restaurant which was great. I love the fact that this is another Motor Inn that can organise for you to have lunches if you require them for your travels. It has an IGA on opposite side of road and is a short walk into the main town.

Fantastic service from the get go, very easy check in. Spacious family room for the 4 of us. Great shower and comfy bed. We decided to eat in the restaurant on site, wow! Beautiful food, large portions and again, fabulous service. Highly recommend

The only downside was the passing traffic was really noisy. The motel is situated on the main road through Miles. Could've been the placement of our room as it was right up the front, opposite reception, so our room backed onto the road or maybe no window glazing. The wonderful service and fantastic food served up the night before, more than made up for it :)

The service was truly awesome. The room was comfortable and clean. We were arriving late and they delivered food to our room for our arrival and the food was absolutely delicious. So comforting. Thank you Sunny and team for a great place to stay.

Our family room was of a strange design with an open “corridor” whilst it was secure and the manager assured us that the other door )appeared to be an interconnected door) was not in use, perhaps the Motel could look at some reconfigured design to make it appear more private.

Motel is in Miles Qld. Honestly there is not much in Miles and I'm glad this was only an overnight stop to our final destination. Everything was good. From reception, to the restaurant, to the beds and shower - no problems. The only issue is the rooms are about 6 inches from the main road train highway so we didn't get a top nights sleep with trucks going past our window all hours. Other then that our stay was good.

Rooms run parallel to Highway and are noisy all night. Other than that. Our very quick stay was enjoyable.

The room is spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom. Kitchen facilities good quality. Quiet location even though just by the highway and easy walk to pubs, restaurants. Supermarket opposite. The most amazing, friendly hotel manager. Super helpful. We needed to get our windscreen fixed for our onward journey and he was incredibly helpful. It would have been much more difficult for us without his help.

Rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and sound proof. Good size tv and Foxtel channels. Massive bathroom and comfy bed. Microwave and split system. Across the road from Iga. Didn’t buy meals but menu looked good and well priced. Undercover parking. Definitely rate a 10/10. Very reasonable price. Felt very welcome on arrival.

Nothing exceptional place to stay.

The Western Downs Motor Inn was a nice place to stay with excellent customer service from the staff. Friendly, professional & welcoming. The kitchen was impressive with modern appliances! They had extra bottles of water for my road trip in the refrigerator, which I appreciated very much! They also provided biscuits & milk for coffee or tea in the morning. The general manager recommended a fantastic place for breakfast before a fun day of travel. I enjoyed my stay at The Western Downs Motor Inn.

The only thing I didn’t like about this property was the cleaning of the carpet. It looked like it had not been vacuumed in quite some time! Other than that, the Western Downs Motor Inn was overall clean & comfortable!

Location was perfect, the beds were very comfortable, had bowls so we could have our own breakfast in the morning. Bathroom & shower was big. Other than traffic the location was quiet, straight across the road was an IGA. Also it had a pool which was great to relax in after a long drive.
