clean towels every day, we stayed 3 days. Bed comfortable, plenty of room. Note: Queens bed are upstairs rooms, I wanted to stay downstairs due to mobility so this was easily changed for me to a King room.

drinks in the fridge that take up room for my food which i want to keep cool. Do not feel I can take out their drinks as that is not good treatment of cold drinks - need to be kept cold. Other places had a list of drinks etc available in their reception area on a post it note on fridge. This would be much better as I really needed that room for my things. The freezer was small and needed defrosting. My cold bottles did freeze ready for travel which was grreat.

Well located for access to the Mt Isa Centre, and just a bit further along to the supermarkets. Good sized room with all facilities.

Information book says that rooms serviced daily. Sign in bathroom says that towels left on racks will not be changed, and that only towels left on floor or in shower will be changed. So we left towels on shower floor. Returning in late afternoon we found that nothing in room had been touched and wet towels were still on shower floor. Taking them to Reception I was told that rooms were now not serviced on weekends (this was Saturday). Clean towels were promptly brought to us, so I have no complaint here, but not servicing rooms on weekend days is something that should be made known at check in. I'd also suggest that there should be a room price differential between days to reflect differences in servicing.

Room was extremely spacious to fit our fridges, nice bench for my coffee machine. We self-catered so kitchen sink, microwave, table and chairs were very handy. Owners were lovely to talk to. Motel is right on the main road in from Cloncurry so very easy to find and a short walk to tourist information centre and a short drive to Coles and Woolworths for stocking up. Lovely patio out the back to fit our clothes line for drying our washing and to sit with a drink at the end of the day. Parking right outside our ground floor room. Highly recommend.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Warm welcome on arrival. We really appreciated the option of a coffee plunger and coffee bags. The room was spacious and well appointed with fridge, toaster, microwave, toiletries and mini bar. Despite being on the main road, the room was pretty quiet. Undercover parking was provided.

There is no gate providing secure access to the property, so anyone can come onto the premises.

The relief managers Jan and Sally were excellent and also very kind. The room was spacious and offered everything we needed, wifi worked well, the showers were hot and the location very good, near the town centre. Anyone visiting Mount Isa should also drive to Lake Moondarra nearby and enjoy the excellent scenery and the peacocks.

The lady on reception she was very helpful ! She was filling in whilst the managers were away, and she was friendly and very helpful!

That our room was upstairs would have preferred a ground floor room but apart from that no complaints

Extremely spacious room, with a generous bathroom, and comprehensive kitchen facilities. Only a few minutes drive to the centre of Mount Isa. The room was in good condition, though the decor could benefit from some more modern and brighter colours.

Nothing worthy of special mention.

A quick stop over in a well equipped motel room, we couldn’t of asked for better facilities. The couple who run the motel were lovely to talk to, providing us with advice for our onward travel.

It was slightly noisy but you have to expect that with it being right next to a road.

A good overnighter breaking the long haul from Winton to Tennant Creek. On-site bistro was a bonus. Room was a large with plenty of space.

Due to security, having to take most of our luggage upstairs for safety - not the fault of the motel but an encumbrance for an overnight stop. Would be the same throughout Mt Isa.

We had to change booking last minute due to flooding. Kathy was very helpful and understanding. The property is in a great location, super clean, good fast internet, overall very impressed. Will definitely stay again
