Kicking off my east coast road trip in Rainbow Beach, I could not have been more pleased to have got a booking in Debbie's Place! On arrival I was greeted by a warm, welcoming lady (who I am going to assume is Debbie but I'm not actually sure!) who explained to me the amenities available to my room, and offered me milk for the fridge for a cup of tea (much welcomed as a brit away from home!). I clearly hadn't paid that much attention to when booking as there was a lovely set up complete with fridge, microwave, outdoor bbq, toaster and coffee machine. There was even an ironing board and iron. Debbie's place is conveniently located near to an IGA grocery store, fish and chip shop and a laundrette, which would have been used more if I had been staying longer. My room (room 1) was immaculately clean and tidy, and very well presented in calming blue theme. The fan and air conditioning were great, and very welcomed having walked from the Greyhound bus stop; this is only a short walk but in the heat with a suitcase it was warm! Rainbow Beach itself is very cute and has plenty to offer - independent cafes, bars and a post office. The gift shops were also well stocked with lots of options to browse. The bird life here is incredible to watch and hear, be prepared to hear lorikeets and cockatoos. I did a day trip to K'Gari very easily from here which I would also recommend. I really enjoyed my stay here, and felt very safe in this location. It was quiet and peaceful and I genuinely feel recharged after my stay here. I hope to be back, and thank Debbie's Place for the hospitality.

It was amazing. Old charm and yet modern and clean. Shower bathroom was roomy, main room also large with an amazing 4 seating bbq area room. Gardens were absolutely stunning and staff the best I have seen for years. So friendly and helpful.

The only improvement I can see is to put on a high quality toilet seat with soft close, and the bed mattress could be upgraded. Bed good but not amazing for comfort. I would add a car charger to unit 7 and charge an extra $10 a night for this room. If updating the bed mattress and toilet seat you could easily put price of units up another $50 to $80 a night. I thought the price was too low for the quality. Not complaining believe me.

The staff straight away made me confident I was going to be happy for one night. The homeliness of the property was amazing! It just felt clean and well looked after. We had probably the worst start to our holiday and seeing them made it 100x better, gave me hope that the property would change the holiday for the better and it did

It’s not a huge deal or even worth saying but the sliding door is a little broken and the main bedroom door is on backwards so the lock is facing the other way so I can’t lock it from the inside🤣

Debbie was friendly and helpful during check in. She gave us some tips on the area and was positive to deal with. The room was clean and bright and was a lovely for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room had all we needed. The shower was awesome. The location was a short walk or drive to main street for good restaurant/coffee etc and the IGA and fish and chips just across the road. Very convenient. We believe it was good value for money and was a perfect launching pad for our adventures on Fraser Island.

We liked everything about the place and it was good value for money and any issue like a tiny bit of road noise from the deliveries to IGA or the bin guys were not a problem at all. The unit was actually perfect. for our needs that weekend.

Debbie's is in an excellent location, and has a very friendly host, charming decor and grounds. Our suite was spacious, well equipped and comfortable.

Soundproofing left a bit to be desired, particularly from plumbing noises from an adjacent apartment. We were not comfortable with one side of our shower being a full length window looking onto a small garden which although not obvious was easily accessible to anyone. There was no way to achieve privacy for the shower and adjacent toilet.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough! It was ideally located, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were upgraded for no additional charge. Debbie was so welcoming and also allowed us to leave the car at the property for the duration of our Fraser Island trip. We arrived to rainbow beach late in the evening and she told us what places would still be open for dinner. Such a lovely lady!

I really loved my stay at Debbie's. She's so energetic and full of enthusiasm, she provided me with useful information on what to do in Rainbow Beach (with my taste for long hikes, walking across the forest and along the beach on a section of the Great Walk was definitely one of the highs in my trip). The accommodation itself is everything you can wish for: a big comfortable bed, self catering facilities, a nice veranda to enjoy your breakfast or relaxing time.

Everything was more than to my liking!

Debbie‘s Place is absolutely fantastic. There is everything you need for a stay, even a barbie outdoor where you can cook and eat. Debbie is an awesome host and a warm hearted person she picked us up when we returned our 4WD and you can ask her everything I bet she would help and never say no. We really enjoyed our stay and it felt like home away from home. Thank you Debbie and we highly recommend everyone to stay there when in Rainbow Beach.

For our opinion the mattresses of the bed is a little too soft.

Every thing!! As soon as you walked in, you're greeting with a well spaced living area & a variety of very comfortable bedrooms. Excellent kitchen facilities & outdoor dining/entertaining. The beds we're amazing as was the water pressure. A few hot days eased with air conditioning in each area. The team at Debbie's were amazing & do accommodating with excellent location to everything you need. So comfortable I could live there permanently.

We had a great stay in Debbie's place. Debbie, the owner, gave us some nice recommendations for visiting rainbow beach when we arrived at the apartment. The room we stayed in was small but had everything you need with a spacious bathroom. The bed was also comfortable. The little kitchen had a fridge, microwave and some basic equipment. It's only a 10 min walk to the beach/restaurants. Debbie was a lovely host and available at her reception or via messaging/phone. She offered us free laundry service which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend staying at Debbie's place! Tip we appreciated the most: watch the sunset at Carlos sand blow, most beautiful sunset we've ever seen.
