It was right on the river and a short walk to the supermarket. The pool was nice but no shade so during 36degree days it was just too hot to sit in the sun. The ladies at reception were really lovely and always up for a chat. The room was comfortable and clean.

No fault of the property but the people with massive boats who parked across multiple parks were annoying and entitled. There was a footy ground behind the hotel where there was ample parking for larger vehicles, that would have given everyone the chance to park near their room. The kids in the floor above were jumping around at 5:45am so that made it hard to sleep in!

The accommodation reached out to confirm some information prior to me attending (as booking.com failed to share this during the booking process). I had some difficulties on arrival as the Telstra service went down in town and I lost GPS tracking. Essentially, I was worried that I may arrive sometime the next morning. I found the rooftop of a local barn that gave me 1 bar of reception and I was able to find the hotel. It was nice to see the desk was staffed late. The staff were friendly and the view from the room was excellent, as it overlooked the Murray River. Parking was convenient and wasn't too tight, and there were a couple of wolf-whistles whilst I unloaded the car (pretty sure it wasn't aimed at me though. as there was a new corvette parked in front). The beds were unexpectedly soft and were very comfortable (surprising as most hotel mattresses are harder than Christmas with the mother-in-law). There were complimentary chocolates, chips, bottles of water, and a couple of alcoholic beverages which were pleasant. I had breakfast included in my booking and the staff kindly provided me with a nice selection of breakfast options, including juice/coffee. The restaurant downstairs also has excellent meals for lunch and dinner, as I decided to splurge my pokie winnings on a fisherman's basket. 10/10 recommend.

The door of the room had an excessively loud clicking noise when opening which would wake up the corridor. There was no sink in the bathroom as it was in the kitchen and there were very little places to put items in the bathroom. An example being that I wear glasses and whilst I showered, I had to put my glasses on the toilet or a small tile-type shelf high up on the opposite wall.

The hotel is beautiful and in a very convenient location. We stayed in the villa with a pool view, which was wonderful. But we didn’t have enough time to use all facilities as we travel for work. The room was also very clean, and we received a lots complimentary items in the room.

I’d give 5 stars, but communication was lacking. We requested a 11am-12 pm check-in to pick up a key due to work travel with time limit, and our booking confirmed this via message. However, the front desk couldn’t accommodate it, so we had to find someone to pick up the key later. If you have specific requests, I’d suggest calling ahead to confirm.

Very nice location. Breakfast included was a plus. Walking path along the river, right in front, was lovely.

Woke up the first morning, after falling into bed, dead tired, to discover dirt on my side of the bed when I pulled back the sheets. Should have looked before I went to bed. It wasn't on my Partner's side. Freaked me out. Reported it to the front desk, and they assured me the sheets had been changed. They hadn't been. I didn't make a big fuss. They gave us a "higher value" coupon for breakfast the next day. Maybe should have asked for a discount on the room.it creeped me out.

A lovely modern facility on the river, with patio to enjoy the sights. Short walk to town - which was closed due to being Good Friday - but handy given the kitchenette in the villa. Mini bar included on arrival which makes checkout a breeze as you don't need to account for any water you may have drunk! Staff super helpful and nothing too difficult.

The only downside - if you can call it that - was our booking at the Bistro for dinner. When we turned up right on opening the hostess told us someone was seated in our booth, but we were welcome to try and find one of the few unreserved table. Strange response, so I suggested she ask them what table they had reserved and we would change places.

Loved the location by the river and the restaurant and other facilities. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The room had all the facilities you would hope for including a bar fridge with some complimentary drinks and snacks - very much appreciated after a long journey! Big screen TV and a spacious bathroom. Plenty of parking around as well.

The only negative I would note is of the pillows provided they were either too hard or too lumpy so maybe time to update the pillows. And no teapot in the room for those who enjoy a proper cuppa!

Room was clean and comfortable, positioned right on the river with lovely green grass and big trees full of white cockatoos, the pool at the facility was beautiful, we ate at the bistro and had a top-notch meal, organised a late checkout with ease. Safe town, lots of local services close by like a woolies and patisserie. Couple of free drinks in the bar fridge was a bonus.

We had an upstairs room overlooking the river which was very scenic and pleasant to the eye. The accommodation was quite good, the king-sized bed and linen were amazing, the much needed air-conditioning was cold and running when we arrived which was wonderful. The complimentary bar fridge is a very nice gesture which we appreciated. The check in staff were very friendly and welcoming as were the restaurant and cleaning staff. The food in the restaurant was absolutely first class. My wife is quite a fussy eater, and she is still raving about how good the Ceasar's Salad was. Breakfast the next morning was equally as good.

The window glass in the room needed an outside clean and some spider webs removed from the window screens. We ate dinner in the restaurant in the evening and were seated around the corner away from the other diners next to the kitchen, which was not very nice, we felt isolated there. The waitresses were pleasant, and as I mentioned the food was first class, but the seating placement diminished the experience for us somewhat.

Absolutely loved the Deluxe room and the pool! My 2 year old slept on the pull out bed which was easy to pull out and put away. The reception staff were amazing. The beds were super comfy and the complimentary bar to top it all off! Amazing 10/10

The accommodation was perfect but the schnitzels with the killpatrick topping from the hotels pub was not worth $36 it was small and didn’t look too appetising. The burger however was amazing 🤩

The beds were comfy and soft but not saggy like a lot of hotel beds can be. However they were Quite soft - so if you prefer a firm bed if you have back issues I’d rethink. However otherwise very comfortable stay. I also appreciated the free water and chips and the cool air con!

It would be nice to have regularly contacted surfaces wiped during clean between customers ie controllers, handwashing pumps, switches, taps etc I say this only because the handwashing pump in my room was a little muddy from the last person - but it was minor in the grand scheme of things 😊 Beside that nothing to say negatively at all - more just an additional suggestion 😊 But the hotel room felt very clean overall!
