Stunning views and clean facilities. Beautiful place. We booked a room that included breakfast and it came with lots of options for brekky that you prepare yourself. Not sure what a room without breakfast would be like but we found that it was quite generous. Nice private location with direct access to a bike trail.

The light outside the room attracted a lot of bugs and moths at night time which a handful of them follow you into your room. Couldn't find a switch to turn it off but not sure if we looked hard enough. However it's good that it's lit up so you can find your way around. There are no real issues here.

Beautiful aparment with plenty of space! There was a great collection of breakfast supplies for both morning we were there. Everything was clean and and the beds comfy. Owners very quick to respond to any questions I had. The location is great, the Riesling Trail goes right next to the property, and parking is spacious. Outdoor pool looked inviting, however we were unable to use it since their pool season only starts in November. I'm sure it's very nice when you visit at the right time.

We knew this beforehand and were okay with it,, but it's good to remember that there's no stove or oven - all the cooking needs to be done in the bbq (or in the microwave). Also a heads up: the fridge is small and very cold, so you can't store that many things in there.

Location was perfect for us - Being sited on the outskirts of town meant it was quiet and relaxing, with a beautiful view over the valley, yet it was also close enough to be within an easy walk or ride of facilities. And the ride mention is worth coming back to.. Bring, or hire, a bike! The Reisling Trail, which the Lodge fronts on to, is an absolute highlight of Clare; within minutes you can be at a number of wineries, or in the heart of town for food. The two bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, well suited to our family.

Honestly, nothing to add here - the stay was wonderful.

Our getaway in Clare was just lovely while staying at Brice Hill Lodge. We stayed in the cottage, which is separate from the other part of the property, but not at all far. The cottage is sweet and cosy with a lovey fireplace. Beds were big and comfortable, and the bathrooms were perfect for two families. We brought our own bikes, but bike hire is next to the property if needed, and the Reisling Trail is just in front. In terms of location, it's perfect for getting around to wineries and shops either by bike or car. The cottage didn't have a coffee machine, but the Clare Bakery was just over the road, so we grabbed our morning coffee from there. The kitchenette was all we needed to make breakfast (on the bbq outside) and prepare some platters. Otherwise, we ate out at one of the many wineries and restaurants around Clare. KD was a super friendly host and was very communicative throughout our stay. The breakfast provisions were ample, and the little touches like a bottle of wine and a few chocolates were a lovely surprise!

Location. Big room comfortable bed

It was advertised as having a restaurant and that breakfast was available. Totally understand it's hard to get staff so maybe they need to alter the site But no mention that this was at an additional cost Options for food was close by so no big problem . And a supermarket very close that you could get fresh produce . We had a down stairs room so as expected a bit of noise Bathroom clean as was the room Nice big bed Older style motel but still a great place Added bonus fresh milk in the room😀

I loved this property and the photo's don't do it justice. The owners ensure you want for nothing, with a fully stocked fridge for breakfast, milk, eggs, bacon, juice, bread, cereals and spreads all provided. Welcomed with a lovely bottle of local red with wine glasses and fresh roses was delightful. The huge spa bath in the extremely spacious bathroom was very much appreciated after a few days of bike riding which we hired on site. Andrew who looked after us with the bike hire was really helpful, delightful and an all-round 'great guy' to deal with.

Local restaurants don't seem to deliver and as the property isn't "in" town, be sure to grab dinner supplies in town first if you plan on visiting a few wineries! If you do eat at the property they have a great BBQ area by the pool or in the private courtyard on each unit.

Excellent location. Very peaceful. Right on the Riesling Trail with Clare Valley Cycle Hire on the property - very easy to hire bikes and be on your way! A short drive (or walk!) to the main centre of Clare. Adequate kitchen to cook your breakfast with provided provisions (bacon, eggs, bread, spreads, yoghurt, cereal, milk, orange juice). Coffee machine worked well. Easy check in and check out process.

Bed a little hard for my liking. Breakfast could include some fruit. Could do with a deep clean ie get rid of the cobwebs and clean under the bed/couch. Would be lovely to have some chairs out the front of the room to sit and admire the view.

There is a beautiful garden outside the house we stayed. Well planted flowers and bushes with lovely roses even in the early winter. The overall environment is attractive and charming.

While the first night was simple to set up a fire but It look great difficulty to light up the fire place in the second night with no kindling or small pieces of wood to start the fire. The split type air conditioner worked but could not deliver warm air.

It was very clean. The fridge had the makings of a breakfast I have a very bad back but the bed was so comfortable for me. My room was very quiet also. It’s great to have the pool. M The owners were available for any questions but I didn’t have any so I didn’t get to meet them. That was nice in a way though as it made the apartment more like home to me.

I can’t think of anything and I’d certainly like to stay there again if I’m visiting from Brisbane. If

Location was ideal, right in front of Riesling trail, the pool was awesome and clean, the suite itself had all essentials plus more, extremely clean, convenient and comfortable. The wildlife were a treat at dusk!!

In the excessive heat over the two day stay, the aircon situated in the lounge room did not cool down the bedroom and the ceiling fan in the bedroom made too much noise to keep on. Very minor issues, nothing that would deter us from rebooking.
