The location was superb! It was virtually right across the road from the visitor centre and a very easy walk. The natural bush of the grounds were lovely to walk through to the laundry and reception. The cabin itself was lovely and clean and had exactly what we needed for our 2 night stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful too. It was a quiet area and exceptional value! Cradle Mountain itself was an amazing experience with lots of different walks to suit all types of walkers and ages. The shuttle bus which you need to take to get up to most of the walks is awesome value as for $15 per person this covers your rides for 3 days. We highly recommend staying in Discovery Parks and Cradle Mountain! Thank you!
The bathroom was in the second bedroom which was not very convenient for 2 couples staying (so it was lucky we were family!)

This cabin was well set up to meet our needs. the bathroom was of a decent size and functional. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was equipped with an air conditioner as well as a heater for the really cold weather. You felt like you were the only one there with all the trees and bushes around each cabin. I was hoping to see some wildlife wondering through, but I didn't while I was there. The kitchen was ample for us.
I couldn't see 6 people staying in this cabin easily even though there were beds for six, one double bed and four bunk beds. I think it would be very crowded and not enough room for all the luggage.

Everything about our accommodation at Cradle Mountain was fabulous. We were delightfully greeted on arrival by a wallaby. The park was well laid out providing safety for pedestrians and vehicles. The short walk to the neighbouring Peppers Restaurant which served delicious food was very handy. Due to limited fitness levels, we needed to drive to the shuttle bus however you could easily walk. Loved the peaceful bushland setting achieving total privacy for each cabin. Everything you needed for a short stay was at your fingertips, although if you did find yourself short of anything, it could be purchased from the onsite shop. Would definitely recommend.
I would have loved to see the wallaby again however, he fulfilled his job of extending us a warm welcome before a couple of minutes later hopping back into the bush.

We had a fantastic stay! We booked a cabin and the only one left was a family sized one - which was just as well so we had plenty of room to spread out gear out inside the cabin! Location: just outside the Cradle Mountain NP visitor centre (so you can leave your car outside your cabin then walk to the visitor centre to get the shuttle inside the park - less than 10 minute walk away). Reception: very friendly, we arrived a few hours early and our room was ready so we were thankful we had somewhere to change into our hiking gear! There is a fantastic grocery store at reception - we had already purchased perishable items from Devonport before driving in, but if you wanted last minute items or hadn't thought about meals, this was great! Frozen meals, meats, bread, small amount of fresh produce, tinned and boxed products for cooking, ice-creams, ice, souvenirs etc! Cabin: we had a family cabin that had a double bed and 2 lots of bunk beds - everything we wanted was inside the cabin! Fly screen door to the porch so you can leave smelly or wet/muddy items outside to dry without bringing inside the cabin. Heating and A/C, even electric blankets for the beds! The kitchenette had a microwave and cooktop with plenty of cooking utensils, tableware, huge fridge for storing items, kettle and large toaster. We cooked our own meals in the cabin. Sofa bed and dining table in the main area. Storage cupboard in the main room and small cabinet above the bathroom vanity. Shower had great hot water and water stream. No wifi in the cabin (but available at reception) but good 4G. All in all, a wonderful stay and we loved our little cabin. Can't beat the location and facilities.
Nothing - it was perfect!

Very luxurious cabin, new, modern, clean, spacious, fabulous kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet. The bath (with bath salts provided) was very relaxing. Cheese, chocolate and bubbles also provided. An outside deck at back of cabin. Great location close to the visitor centre where you catch the buses into the park, also close to Devils at Cradle, which is worth a visit. Small shop on site where basics and food can be purchased. Coffee at the visitor centre. Glad we stayed here and not Peppers, which looks very tired (popped in there for a meal after walking in the park).

The cabin was beautifully set up, and the kitchen was well-equipped for preparing a proper home-cooked meal. The on-site grocery store was a pleasant surprise, offering a good variety at reasonable prices. The location was unbeatable, with the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre just across the street.
Only some minor issues - no clothing rack in the cabin. Shared laundries can be a bit busy at certain time of the day. The roads within the complex were also very narrow, which can get jammed up easily when someone is setting up their caravans.

Exceptional luxury mountain cabin. Well located: short walk across to National Park visitor centre and shuttle to Dove Lake. Beautifully furnished, well equipped kitchen including Miele dishwasher, premium teas and coffee supplies. Gorgeous bathroom with bath made for two, ideal after long hike. Underfloor heating in dressing area and bathroom an unexpected treat. The unanticipated welcome platter of cheese, crackers, fig paste, Tasmanian bubbles and chocolates made our day!
A pair of oven gloves would be helpful but otherwise we loved everything

Our premium mountain cottage was amazing. So comfortable & lots of space. A bath looking out into the trees and a few extra special additions like local chocolate, cheese and champagne were very appreciated. The underfloor heating was very luxurious and welcomed to keep us warm. The full kitchen (including dishwasher) was very useful with yummy teas, coffee pods & hot chocolate. A couple of good sized storage containers in the kitchen were very handy to pack our lunch in for our picnics. 🥰 Loved the quietness and peaceful surrounds at night only hearing the occasional black cockatoos singing their sweet sound.
Parking was quite a distance away from our cabin. No cooking oils, glad wrap or foil provided and salt n pepper only in little sachets.

Beautiful location and setting. The new dwelling was perfect for our needs, and having parking right outside is great. It was surprisingly quiet considering how many people were around. A great selection of options - from camp sites to rustic cabins to new cabins. The staff were lovely and helpful. But warning - the cheeky black birds will steal items off the table, from your car if you leave the door open, or even go inside. They will wait for you to walk away and swoop in fast - hilarious.
Nothing - everything was lovely and what you would expect for a nice holiday park. One thing to be aware of is that the doors have key cards (like a hotel) so make sure you keep one on you in case the door closes.

Nice place directly next to the national park. The rooms are a little small, but allright. The kitchen is beautiful with a fireplace and it was always nice and warm there. Also, since it is in the middle of the woods, it is a quiet place ;)
The toilet was in the other building and unfortunately, only part of the way had a roof, which was annoying when it was raining. Also the heating in the room was not working too well, the second evening, it just stopped at some point. But there were warm blankets, so you just had to lay in bed to keep warm.
