We enjoyed the facilities, the room is equipped with all the necessary things you need toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge, toilet and bath was pretty decent, the room is so clean, neat and tidy, the view from the balcony was ok. TV is working with more channels, the BBq outside was so perfect we enjoyed cooking our meals there.

The road was sooo steep and not recommended to non professinal driver, i wish there was a cooking place inside, even just an induction cooker and a vent, its hard to cook outside espcially when its raining, but the BBq will be perfect for summer. The location wasnt that far from town, but its not walkjng distance, you still need to drive.

The room was spacious as was the bathroom. There was a comfortable bed, a couch and table and chairs plus a good sized bench and ample crockery and cutlery etc. The breakfasts were fantastic and varied from day to day. There were laundry facilities too which we were very pleased to have access to. It was nice and peaceful - most appreciated after a day of driving and/or sightseeing.

Not that this can be changed but lugging our bags up and down the steps especially in the rain did not impress us. I thought there may have been a better view out over the bay however we were very comfortable staying there.

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. Great location and views over Middleton Beach and surrounding area. Owners were lovely to chat to, met our request for thinner pillows and kept the room very clean and neat.

We did find the bed a little on the soft side for our liking and the room difficult to keep dark at night. A blind on the bathroom window or the window between bathroom and main room would have been a great help.

Saltair is nestled in the hills overlooking Middleton Beach. It is Adults only and nicely secluded. The View , Location, quietness and breakfast were outstanding. The facilities were fantastic, especially the Bathtub as I am a short person and could actually touch the end with my feet and not feel like I was going to drown. The ambience was that of a European Villiage . We will certainly be back.

There was nothing I didnt like, however a glass shower screen would be good so that the tiles in the Bathroom didnt become so slippery.

Simple, unfussy fabulous Bath, lovely soft water, magazines yes mags are a winner, good to see them back after the pandemic

Nothing! However the brochure mentioned a small block of shops with fish and chips and heaven sent a wine bar. I was off like a rocket leaving my frozen meal behind. But it was Tuesday and nothing was open. Even the 3 anchors pub was shut. So it might be worth mentioning this in the brochure, but I had a pleasant walk and ended up with my frozen meal.

The property had an excellent location with a water view, in a quiet area. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything we needed, plus a few extras, such as bathrobes and good coffee and other things to drink that made us feel very welcome. The place was very clean and fresh feeling and was good value for the money.

We liked everything. The only possible problem was that we could easily hear the neighbours in the next room as the walls were very thin. Fortunately, they were a quiet couple. Had they been noisy, it would have been a real problem.

It had a lovely outlook. It was clean with lovely luxury touches. It has a lovely bathroom area Really comfortable and having it serviced each day was a treat. There is no air con but it wasn’t too hot as there is some system for cooling and heating. Owner was helpful in getting back to us about an issue we had. The free laundry was a bonus. Loved our stay.

We have stayed at Saltair on many occasions and it is always a very welcoming and comfortable property in a great location. The breakfasts are outstanding with the tasty local produce and daily variability, the view towards Middleton Beach is also outstanding. The heated tiles on the floor on a cold day are perfect. It is very quiet and peaceful and perfect for a relaxing stay.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as we remember, but we still slept well.

Great location with a partial view of the ocean. We didn't take the option of breakfast. Close to Middleton Beach and some cafe's, eateries nearby. A short drive to Albany town. All in all a good place to stay. Well equipped.

No real complaint but although a microwave is supplied it was a little inconvenient cooking on the bbq if the weather was cold and windy. Also, like most holiday accommodation we could hear some noise from above and next door apartments but minimal and not during sleeping hours.

The breakfasts were absolutely superb - every day. Well appointed bathroom that made the most of the space. The room was spacious and had everything that we wanted. The location overlooking Middleton Beach was excellent and there is a balcony so you can make the most of it. Walking to local shop, bar, restaurant & fish & chip shop - then along the beach. We were lucky with the weather and a super full moon in Albany, but there is so much to do - we'll be back.

Builders over the road for a couple of mornings, but nothing you can do about that.
