Location was great, room was comfortable and staff were friendly.

The hotel guide in the room and the staff on check in said there was free Wi-Fi in the rooms but we didn't get any wifi reception in our room. My phone registered the wifi network for about 5 minutes on day one and then it was gone. It was definitely a lack of reception as the smart TV in the room also couldn't connect to the network. Not a big deal but it was a bit disappointing.

Room size was enjoyable. Bed was very comfortable and a good hot shower with lovely soft towels although shower pressure dropped when room behind used theirs. I travel a lot on business so keep cleaning the remotes in the room - many motels forget to do this which is disgusting but yours were clean, so thank you.

The rooms are dated and for the price it is necessary to bring the rooms up to 2021 standard. I was in room 18 and it wouldn't take much...replace the lace curtains with more modern sheers. An expense but install more power points near the table for work use. I bring an extension cord but without it would be impossible to plug in to recharge phones, iPad, laptop etc. Hanging a 4 point power board from behind the fridge doesn't cut it.

The restaurant was fantastic, one of the nicest meals we've ever had at an accommodation. Lovely ambiance! Nice veranda section for predinner drinks & meeting other guests.

Nothing really; obviously an older establishment, but that had charm also.

whilst a little dated, Nelson’s has it all, small town wonders, brilliant staff, great food and they just can’t do enough for you. Everyone in our group commented on how awesome our stay was. we will be back.

All the staff I met were Friendly and helpful . I fell and injured my leg and the receptionist gave me dressings from their first aid box and drove me to the pharmacy Property Clean and the bed very comfortable, . Very spacious and rather lovely bathroom

A little pricey and I suggest you bring your own hairdryer. The one in the bathroom must be as old as the motel and not very effective. Carpet probably due to be replaced

Good location and good restaurant

Discovering that the normal cost of a standard room is $160 if booked with Nelsons and is $200 if booked with Booking.com

We couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the room or the comfort of the bed. We weren’t expecting 5 star. We just wanted something central, warm and clean. Nelson’s exceeded our expectations.

The location was great!

No breakfast but good cafe over the road. Reasonable walk to central Bridgetown. Room had a courtyard. Hassle free.

Room's courtyard was a bit scruffy.. Could have used a few more drawers.

All staff from check-in through to check-out including restaurant and cleaners were very friendly and polite. The restaurant food was lovely and well presented. The beds were very comfortable.

Just the cobwebs on the ceilings in the kitchen and above the bed. The rats in the roof were a bit off putting too but I mentioned it on check out and a note was made to address the issue.

Nelsons is fit for purpose. I stayed in one of the older rooms but it was suitable for a business overnight stay. Wifi was good and the bed was comfortable. They were very good with my request of a microwave so that was a big plus.
