Breakfast was very ordinary consisted of bag of cereals, bottle of milk, two slices of bread and a small container of fruit all left in the room. P

One reason for choosing this accommodation was it advertised satellite tv and breakfast included. There was no Satellite tv the first night we had only ABC and SBS we contacted the owner and was told no satellite tv and the next day the tv was replaced and all normal channels were available.Adverting breakfast included you would think that would include a cooked breakfast no that which was provided

Location was terrific, overlooking the Blackwood river. The room was very spacious and well-equipped. Breakfasts were well thought-out and plentiful. The bird-feeders near the front window were a nice touch (with seed set out each late afternoon.

We had a couple of issues with maintenance - 1. the bathroom sink plug would not disengage (fixed the next day when we reported it); 2. if he bathroom door snib lock was turned, and then you exited the bathroom and closed the door, it locked and could not be unlocked from outside.

Loved the setting. Was lovely and quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable 👌 The breakfast trays were a very nice touch. As someone who likes to walk and explore, we loved the position of the property, and the hill both outside the establishment and the one leading to the main road into town😀 its difficult to find places like Tweed Lodge these day's. It was perfect. Would definitely stay again and tell our friends. Walking into town was wonderful! And the markets were on too!

The only thing we struggled with originally was how to get to reception. We were a little tired from travelling all day that we missed this signage. No one's fault though!

Great location close to town and easy to navigate around the South West. The accommodation was cozy and it was lovely having birds and nature so right on your doorstep. The owner was friendly and overall our experience was very positive.

We had no major concerns with our stay. The room was a little bit old in terms of amenities but that is fairly standard for this sort of accommodation and it was part of the charm. Any concerns would be nitpicking.

Breakfast cereal, spreads & bread for toast supplied. Kitchen was ok, room was huge and balcony outside with great views to the river and bush/flora, balcony is adjoined with other units. Seemed to have some privacy from the balcony with curtains. Nice rural surrounds.

Entry & exit is a bit unusual, need a car to get into town 5 minutes or it's a long walk 20 to 30 min.

Rustic, relaxed feel. Stunning location overlooking the river, and lovely gardens. Room has everything you need, and we'll maintained. Great value for money. Friendly hosts. We were there in really hot weather and the reverse cycle air con did it's job really well. (Imagine it's just as effective at keeping it warm in winter.

Can't think of anything.

Nice large room with tv/sitting area and kitchenette Outside area overlooking the slope down to the Blackwood River. So peaceful, relaxing and therapeutic. Wake to the sound of birds . Sit and watch them feeding outside your room (owner Jenny puts bird feed in the feed trays outside each room daily). Great value for money!

Comfortable room & bed just a 3-min drive to town. Our back door lex straight out onto the deck with a stunning view of the gardens. Continental breakfast provided. Daily 4pm bird feeding was nice to watch quietly. Quick & helpful communication with host prior to our stay. We will be back!

The disabled access room doesn’t have a ledge to block the water flow, or a dip in the floor so the water drains properly as you shower. Made the whole toilet area wet & muddy after someone had had a shower.

Spacious feel, uncluttered, tasteful decor. Fairly basic breakfast, but certainly there was choice, along with generous quantities. And it was so nice to have fresh milk, and real butter :)

The crockery and cutlery available was a bit sparse. One or two larger-sized serving bowls and a platter or two would be most welcome additions. That said, basic needs were met.

beautiful location, lovely gardens at back of property. Bird feeding each day, which was so nice to see.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like, the only small thing was the sliding doors were really hard to open, could have done with some glider spray on them. Apart from that, perfect place for a relaxing holiday, we would definitely go there again.
