The location was great, right on the beach and with a great outlook over the ocean. The spa bath in the room was perfect for winding down after the day’s activities.

The bed was a little firm for our liking and it would have been great if there had been a range of pillow types. All the pillows were firm and high.

Free guest laundry was a bonus Room very comfy

Sheer loungeroom curtain hadnt been cleaned for some time. Water was shutoff to the room and entire block without the being advised in advance which showed the Management and maintenance dont really understand how the building is built and management and maintenance workers need retraining. Reception staff when contacted on the water isssue were not aware of the issue and after an hour were none the wiser. I draw attention to poor communication and planning including Reception training and awareness. Gym needs improvement as its mainly a first aid room.

+ comfortable beds + great AC + gym and pool facilities were very good + staff were phenomenal + shuttle bus was super handy (though recommend hiring a car, we had to do this last minute as we realised flexibility was limited for dinner options as bus stops at 3.30. We also wanted to explore beaches - which is a MUST in this area) Other recommendations for February trip: * see baby turtles hatching, park at Five Mile Beach Access. Enter beach from 5.30pm, walk to the right and wait patiently for the magic to happen! Keep an eye out for seagulls swooping. * snorkel hire from the hire shop next to bamboo - $15 for 24hr hire * hit up oyster stacks and osprey bay (turtles) for snorkelling, and turquoise bay for gorgeous beach views.

- food was lovely but portion sizes were so big, for us it would be better to have smaller portions for lower price

Great place! Gives you a nice holiday feeling! The staff of the restaurant is extremely nice.

The prices for the rooms are somewhat too high A few other minor things: - If you ask such a high price for rooms, then provide guests with good quality toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo and not a quality you would only expect in a one star hotel. Elsewhere in Australia this was perfect and luxurious, so why not in the most expensive of all hotels booked? - There was a very strange, old audio system in the room. It looked as if it was from the nineties - the temperature regulation of the shower is difficult These things are all relatively minor things and easy to solve, especially the provision of higher quality shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper.

We were upgraded from a one to a two bedroom ocean view apartment on check in. It was a beautiful apartment on the first floor with a large balcony overlooking the long white sandy beach. Well equipped to self cater which we did with seafood from the Fish Shack in Exmouth which is a short drive away.

The resort is on a lovely beach opposite the marina. However it is necessary to drive into Exmouth itself and then a further drive if one wants to visit the Ningaloo Reef which is on the other side of the peninsula. Well worth it but not something we appreciated when booking.

Mantarays is a beautiful resort in a stunning little town. The room was gorgeous, the pool was gorgeous, the restaurant lovely, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was always so nice coming back to such a pretty place at the end of a long day hiking and swimming, and the facilities were all excellent. We were also pleasantly surprised with how nice and clean the communal laundry was!

The only criticism is the cost of the food in the restaurant, particularly for the breakfast menu. I can imagine how expensive it is to get so many of the required ingredients to what is quite a remote location, and everything we did eat was lovely, but the prices were very high for portions that were not particularly generous.

The ambience, location and facilities were great. Impressive and cool foyer. The pool was wonderful with children's pool separate and cosy egg shaped cabanas to escape into from the sun. The layout of the hotel room looking over the lily pond, swimming pool, beach and restaurant was extremely relaxing and the air con was excellent. Toiletries provided were lovely. The food was wonderful and the staff were friendly and quick to assist.

Had to carry bags upstairs. No lift access. Tea and coffee making area in the room was a bit on the small side. Not in the centre of town but that can be a good thing if you like to escape whilst on holidays.

It’s by far the best place to stay in Exmouth, has a lovely pool with plenty of shade, right next to town beach, with a decent restaurant. Nice large bathroom and shower, efficient, quiet aircon (essential in summer!). Comfortable bed and lots of clothes hanging space. Helpful staff, at reception, bar/restaurant and house-keeping. The location means you need a car, but you do to visit Cape Range NP anyway.

The pool loungers are very basic. We had a 1-bedroom apartment which had a huge, empty-feeling lounge area with an odd massive sofa with 2 tiny, old cushions - very under-furnished for a large space, not even art on the big empty wall with the tiny TV - but luckily we didn’t intend to watch much TV. It faced southwest so not the best sea or pool view, but across the marina so was at least interesting.

Location on the beach is lovely and close to the township, its very quiet and relaxing. Our room was right on the beach front and waking up to the view was amazing.

The pool was often quite full of children so take that into account depending on what sort of holiday you're having. The bedrooms didn't have power sources which is crazy to me, you can't charge personal devices in the bedroom. The beds were too firm for me, I ended up sleeping on the couch (which was actually REALLY comfy, oversized and nice!)

The rooms were large and well equipped, when requesting a twin room would be nice to have the beds which were very comfortable set apart, at $400 per night would expect toiletries x 2, the resort is in a beautiful location for the beach, the restaurant food was excellent, the restaurant, bar staff and cleaning staff were all lovely not so the reception staff unfortunately

Reception staff were not the most friendly with greetings of any kind on check in, busy talking to each other at check out, there was no thank you for staying with us, no have a good day, nothing at all?
