hotel grounds were nicely kept and had 2 pools and local kangaroos on the property, however at least 1 of the bench seats at a picnic table had rusted so severely that the seat nearly collapsed and could have caused serious injury. Rooms were a good size and airconditioning worked well. No traffice noise.

Room had around 3 spiders webs which i had to specifically ask to be removed. Cleaners only changed the towels and casually put the blankets on the bed and emptied bins, No daily cleaning of bathroom. The coach was quite old and stained so we did not sit on it. The location of the single bed is against a wall with no bedside table. There is an above head triangle shelf located just above your pillow so you need to be careful not to bang your head. The room view was of the next door hotel room which was only 4 meters away.

Clean, tidy, double-storey unit worked well for our family of four. Neat kitchen with everything we needed, including a coffee pod machine and some pods too. We stayed for 4 nights and the unit was serviced once while we were there, which was nice. Conveniently located, easy to get to all places on foot or by car. Covered car bay was nice as well. Airconditioned living area and one bedroom (main bedroom has a ceiling fan) was handy. We also enjoyed the downstairs outdoor area and upstairs balcony.

Swimming pool was cold, was hoping it may have been heated so more people could use it (It was 27 to 28 degrees while we were there). Price was a little higher as it was during school holidays. Otherwise it worked really well for us.

Staff are welcoming and grounds are well-kept. There is a fenced pool area and even a spa which was wonderful after a hike, even if it is old and a bit grubby looking. Some emus and kangaroos with joeys were wandering around when I was there which the overseas tourists (and me) loved. The rooms have a full sized fridge, not just a bar fridge.

The old units are very faded and tired looking, with mould and rust evident in the bathroom. Having said that, they were clean and I'd stay again because, as a solo traveller, it was a reasonable price.

Very good sized room with a kitchenette, which was a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very nice compared to other places. The other thing which we appreciated was the table and chairs to sit down to at your meal. This is very lacking in many other places. Kangaroos outside our door on the grased area morning and late afternoon was also nice as was the bbq area. Would definetly come back again as it was by far the best place we stayed at during our 10 day trip up North.

Hard to fault Palm Resort as it ticked all the boxes. Perhaps a larger tv would be good.

The location was fantastic, close to the water and shops, restaurants. The bed was really comfortable and the room was a good size. Lovely to have the kangaroos visit. It was really helpful to have an on-site laundry , reasonably priced, and a clothesline available. Reception was happy to change money and provide pegs.

It would be good to update the kitchen and bathroom at some point, especially the kitchen cupboard. There was a strange smell. Maybe the water? Some extra power points would be good.

Room was good size for two, kitchenette with microwave and good size fridge with freezer. Only downer was the very old air conditioner that battled to keep the room cool (temp was in the 40’s). Great pools and BBQ area, kangaroos lounge around with their Joey’s and emus walk through the grassed areas. Walking distance to two pubs and various restaurants and food outlets. Great playground on the foreshore. All round great destination

Staff were very lovely and helpful. Ample tea and coffee in the room. Room was spacious and comfortable, with good amount of sun light. Location was very good. Parking was free and easy. No trouble with noise from neighbours.

Internet was terrible even though our room was close to the hotspot. Quickly gave up and used our data instead. One pool needed cleaning, the other needed the lining replaced (didn't stop us using it though), and the bubbles for the spa tub was broken.

We’ve stayed here before and love this place. It’s so handy to everything, the staff are friendly and facilities great. We stayed in a Hibiscus room this time and thoroughly enjoyed it. These rooms a bit more modern than the original motel rooms. BBQ area was cleaned daily and pool is great. Easy walk to the beach and shops. And walking distance to Finlay’s Restauarant.

TV reception was poor and the Internet almost useless but no big issue. Only a small electric fan heater to heat the room.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room/ apartment was very clean, and beds and lounge were comfortable. Everything in town is walking distance. Parking.right in front of the room. We had quite a spacious bathroom, nice surprise. But the downside, we didn't have a view at all. Didn't bother us as we were out and about anyway. But even though the room may not have had a view, there are heaps of recreational areas around the resort.

Nothing to dislike, really would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay to visit the Kalbarri National Park. Pool a welcome relief after visiting the park where temperatures were several degrees higher. Room recently updated and was well suited to a longer stay. Many people had booked in for a week or more. Sunset cruises leave from close by. Findlay's fish barbecue good place to eat dinner. The Pelican Cafe is great for breakfast, five minute drive to both places.
