Loved the old-world charm of both the house and the room we were allocated. Room 2 was decorated to suit its high ceilings and beautiful wooden floors. A nice quiet air conditioner and bar fridge did not interfere with the tranquillity of the rooms atmosphere. Top marks for the cleanliness of both the bedroom and bathroom facilities. Really lovely comfey bedding Ease of entry was also fuss free.

Found the sink tap extremely hard to turn on in room 2. The shower stall was lovely and clean, but the trickle of water from the shower head made the shampooing of my hair near impossible to remove the suds. Very low water pressure and tepid water heat didn't allow for the use of the cold tap.

Location was good, easy walk to main street. Access seemed easier this time. I left later and received the code in an email. The rooms are lovely - nice decor. Homely feel, not just a room. Gardens a work in progress, not the weather for swimming pool but would be great in summer.

I received about six emails asking me to read the Roseneath Guide Book. Surely one or two would be enough. All the inventories and messages to use dark towels for make-up removal I found a bit anal.

The unit was clean and tidy, the room was spacious. Bathroom was newly renovated. We had a pleasant stay. The weather was hot, glad that each room is installed with air-con. Parking lots are available right in front of the unit. However, the check in instruction was sent to Booking. com inbox, there was no email notification from Booking.com, hence we didn’t know what was the check in instruction. We gotten help from the contractor, he helped us to call Jeni and assisted in checking us in as well. If there wasn’t a repairing work in the unit, we might not be able to get any help. feedback to Booking.com that the notification system need some improvement.

Lovely location. we just walked around the town centre. Went to the indigenous museum, which was fantastic, interesting. Went to dinner. Breakfast was by the river. Then went on to Toodyay, to the farmers market (just lucky it was on that day). Made my partners birthday special. Great weekend!

Nothing, access was easy to the cottage, everything was clean and comfortable. Just shame it was so chilly we couldn't go for a swim. But thinking about doing another weekend in springtime, see the flowers out.

Good location on route from the goldfields to perth. Old style house, kitchen well stocked. Nice shared area with space. Nice town outside the busy perth area

Lack of human contact with the owners. All late email messages and e-messages resulting in us not getting access arrangements until we arrived. The owners make an assumption that we have Internet access and a phone available to call them upon arrival and we had neither.. We were overseas tourists unfamiliar with telephone numbering, so we struggled to get hold of owners. Contact a few days earlier by email on access instructions would have been more helpful rather than asking us to phone when we got there.. The house has a pool. It would have been nice if we could have used it after a long journey.

The location of this pretty cottage is excellent. The en suite bedroom was decorated charmingly with quite a comfortable bed. Access to the large kitchen-diner and living room as well as garden would all enhance a longer stay.

While I understand the economics of providing bed only (no breakfast), I would have appreciated the ability to make a coffee and toast in the morning without the need to bring my own supplies. On the other hand, there are breakfast options nearby.

I loved the house. My room was so comfortable and the ensuite was great. I’d like to come back to spend more time in the house as I loved it so much. It’s very secure and safe too which I like.

I couldn’t find a complete breakfast. There was cereal but no milk or juice for breakfast or other food. I couldn’t find any information on breakfast in the room or on the website.

Easy to find and access the property - instructions were very clear. The room was lovely. Comfy bed (with electric blanket), heater to warm the room, newly-renovated en-suite bathroom, good sized fridge with milk for tea/coffee and cereal as well as a carafe of cold water, kettle (filled, ready to boil on arrival), crockery and cutlery plus tea/coffee/sugar/biscuits/cereal sachets for two people. Unfortunately I was only there for a short overnight stay and went out for dinner, so I didn’t take advantage of the shared lounge room or kitchen/dining, but both of these spaces were very clean and well-equipped.

Nothing.

There was two choices of cereal and milk available in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and we had a TV and tea and coffee making facilities with a small fridge in the room and all the crockery and cutlery to eat in your room.

There was no soap or toiletries in the bathroom which we had expected there would be. The tap on the handbasin in the ensuite was very stiff and difficult not to avoid splashing water over your clothes. As the property has 3 bedrooms rooms with a communal kitchen, dining room and lounge and there was another guest staying there we mostly stayed in our room. This was a lesson for us, in future we will look for something where we can be the only guests.

Location great. Very clean and comfortable. Small fridge, kettle, tea & coffee in room. Good size tv. Lovely heater.

Even though the cost for the night was very reasonable, I didn't think 2 x 25g bags of cereal really qualified as being called "breakfast included". Perhaps 2 slices of bread each for toasting and a juice box or small Two Fruit each would be enough to qualify.
