Bergbude Great place to stay if you are traveling through! The key is ready and you can check yourself in. The rooms are outdated, but if you are looking for a bed and shower after a long day of driving, this is more than good. The breakfast is good, nice that this is included. Various choices in sandwiches / yogurt / granola / fruit. Simple but you don't need more. They even ask you how you prefer to eat your egg (boiled, fried or scrambled). The environment looks great. Owner is very relaxed and there is a casual atmosphere.

Really friendly people, you feel alone even if all the hotel is fully booked.

A bit old (furniture, doors, bathroom) At the breakfast they did not refill things and after us came at least 9 people and there was just 1 salami slice , on one of the tables i saw omelette and boiled eggs shells, but there was non on the buffet. And to be clear we had breakfast at 8 o’clock ( breakfast time is 7-9:30o’clock)

How wonderful! We spent 5 days and had a great time! The owner is truly very, very kind and recommended so many beautiful places for us to explore (it's always amazing when a local gives you valuable advice!). Comfortable room, varied and good breakfast. We hope to come back in the summer! Thanks again for everything.

Super location in the shadow of mountains and a mile or so away from the Faaker See. Traditional Austrian pension / gasthof offering clean and comfortable rooms. Fairly basic accommodation but does everything you expect (and more) and it does not cost the earth. Superb hosts (family run) and a decent breakfast on offer. Great family dog as well! Excellent value for the money in a very sought after region.

The location is amazing, with beautiful mountain views and surrounding nature, but it’s also next to the road which is convenient. The staff and owners are welcoming, accommodating and very kind. We came with our dog, and the place was 100% dog friendly, even with a fenced garden, where we could let our dog off-leash.

The check in/check out was very uncomplicated. Breakfast was very good with the opportunity to sit outside on a beautiful terrace. The owner was very friendly and also spoke English. The location is perfect, very close to the lake. The room was spacious and clean. The mattress a bit old, but we slept very well despite that! All in all we would definitelly come back again!

Our stay was amazing, the hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable, we felt as at home. The view to forrest was beuatiful and the visti overall really exceeded our expectation. The hotel owner was amazingly nice, helpful and relaxed, and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you! The location is calm, near Villach and Faaker See, and its good to come with car (even though I dont know about how public transport works).

Friendly staff and beautiful dog that helps me from missing my dog 2500km away. Nice location to walk 20 mim to the see for relaxation. Plenty parking and amazing views. Casual non luxory yet very nice atmosphere of a family run business. Small business as these must be encouraged to continue. Plan on stopping over more often as it's convenient near the motorway.

What we like most was that we could make use of the fully equipped catering kitchen including the barbecue. The host was very kind and nothing was too much. We were only 1 day at the property but we have fully enjoyed it.

Although they were very clean they didn't look very appealing. That is why our well-intentioned advice is to make new mattress covers and sheets available as soon as possible. It's a very small investment with great appreciation.

Everything was beyond our expectations. Place close to the highway in a fairytale-looking landscape - the view is truly amazing. Breakfast very tasty, contact with a host perfect and with no problems. Even Late check in wasnt the problem.
