History, beautiful surroundings, lovely breakfast.

The room with 2 twin beds was very small. A comfortable chair to sit in would have been much appreciated, as there was only a desk chair. Access to hot tea and coffee throughout the stay would have been welcome. A schedule of events for the school, Mass times, Adoration, etc, Wouk’s have been helpful. Notice that a tour of the property was available would also have been helpful. I only found out from a booklet I purchased for 5€ that I could ask for a tour, but it was too late as it was the night before we left.

Breakfast was good!!! Restaurant food was delicious!!!

There is not air conditioning on rooms and in general inside restaurant or facilities it felt really hot. Most but not all waitresses were not very friendly, they don’t greet you with a smile or a nice welcome.

It was very beautiful, the staff were very helpful. It was our first time in Europe and they explained how the key and lighting worked. The breakfast was over the top with a lot of variety to choose from and very healthy!

The breakfast offered choice but somehow lacked some love and care (filling up missing things, arranging the table a bit more beautiful) A good breakfast but not 4 star

The location, the place itself and its atmosphere of tranquility and quiet.

When the b‘fast buffet is not restocked throughout the morning and most platters look unappetising, it’s not a good morning ! At 8.30h (which is relatively early for a Saturday morning!), there was one small crust of a loaf of bread left and all the traditional Austrian „Semmeln“ (white rolls) were gone. The sausage and cheese platters were looking very „sad“ and unappealing, and the two orange juice jugs were empty….. This happens frequently in most hotels but the BIG difference is, that good hotels constantly replenish the buffet so that every guest has the feeling he/she is getting the full choice!!

It was beautiful, our room was quiet and clean and our location was perfect. Also the included breakfast was huge and so yummy!!

It is a beautiful location surrounded by mountains and conveniently in walking distance to town. Our dinner at the Kartause was one of our best meals in Europe! Breakfast was wonderful and our suite was very nice and kid friendly.

Friendly attentive staff. Ultra clean rooms. The charming quaint environment. Great breakfast buffet. lunch and dinner food was tasty. Walkable to a nearby store and other shops as well as eateries.

It was an extremely delightful and quaint hotel, and we would definitely return if we have the opportunity!
