Amazing stay in Lienz , the staff are friendly, welcoming and looking for your comfort. Room are large and the beds are comfortable We had dinner at the restaurant, I loved everything they presented and staff also friendly. Breakfast great especially with freshly baked croissants and pastries, they serve egg according to your request, the staff are nice since the offered chicken mortadella when we discovered that one is pork and we don't eat it and they prepared it next day They have spa but i didn't tried it due shortage of time I highly recommend this hotel

On the edge of the town but a good overnight stop if you are planning an early start for the sensational drive across the Grossglockner Pass - as we were. Quiet, comfortable and clean with excellent service from friendly staff. Lovely food. Plenty of choice at breakfast and our dinner was very good indeed and very well presented. Indeed, it was the best meal we had at any of the hotels we stayed at during our week in Austria

The entrance to the hotel is from a car park in front of the ski lift. Very quiet and a bit drab in Summer. But our bedroom had a lovely view over the town with some impressive mountains behind.

Arrived there after a wet ride on my bike and they offered to dry my gear for me, this was a great help. Rooms where of a decent size and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and this was also very good, food and ambience. Would certainly go back there.

Just the one small fly in the ointment, the room had a wasser kocher, and a cafetiere with the coffee in some strange looking pods. I left this to the morning but alas didn't manage to work it out, some instructions would have been helpful.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast spread, scrambled eggs were delicious. Bed is large and comfortable. Rooms are clean.

Parking is limited, if you return to the hotel at midday there will unlikely be lots available as the hotel is next to the ski lift. There are hotel only lots but those are also limited. We came back mostly after 5pm and there was no problems with parking

Room was spacious, quiet and accessible by elevator (important for us elderly types) Dinner/breakfast choices were good, female restaurant-staff was helpful and had pleasant cheerful personality. Decor of hotel overall looked updated recently with good taste.

Weather, but cannot blame hotel for that... Probably the place looks very nice in winter, the rainy look during our stay was a bit depressing....

The reception was very helpful in meeting our requests for a few changes at short notice. The room was spacious and well equipped. The mini kitchen was an added bonus. The whole hotel is modern and maintained to a very high standard. Very friendly staff both in the bar and at breakfast.

Great location and a really comfortable hotel. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast.

Only minor issue was that there was a connecting apartment that was only closed by a normal door. Hence we could hear everything really vividly what the other person (neighbour) was doing.

I spent four days in Holunderhof with my family and can honestly say that it was a really good experience. (we wanted hotel located near bahn, but got much more, would recommend and would like to come back)

The sauna facility, friendly staff, cleanliness of the hotel. We arrived quite late and hadn’t had anything to eat, the restaurant was closing but they still cooked us some food!

We stayed in a two bedroom suite so it was shared bathroom door but the door was frosty glass, I wasn’t really comfortable with it. Also, the floor is slippery in the shower cubicle.

Room was comfortable and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Receiption team were friendly. Parking on site was very helpful.

We paid for dinner included in the tarrif but it was rigid set menu. For my children, the menu was not quite to their liking. A little more choice in the set menu would be helpful
