I have nothing important to complain about. The staff was friendly (but discreet, as I like it) and English speaking, the room was big and fully equipped, everything was functioning, it was clean, bed linen and towels changed in time, the air conditioning functioning for cooling but also for heating (if you understand the logic behind how it works). Breakfast OK as variety. Good positioning, close to the train, Metro and the bus stations to all directions in Baku. A lot of good restaurants (local food, indian, chinese, turkish, italian) in 10 minutes walking range

Small things - for instance the bathtub drain was a bit slow. My room had only a bathtub (no separate shower space) - so if you have mobility problems (I do NOT have), ask before.

We occupied the junior suite for two weeks so we had a very full experience at the Parkside. The room was huge and very pleasant for a long stay, with very comfortable beds and a panoramic view over the bus and train station of 28 May - as well as over to the Flame Towers. The hotel has a very convenient location to use the metro and buses, or walk/taxi to Fountain Square and the old city. The breakfast was full of options and tasty. The room is very quiet at night and good for sleeping. The staff was mostly very agreeable and eager to respond with help, but we sometimes needed to ask for things twice. The managers were especially informative and responsive.

The biggest problem now is parking as well as moving in and out. The hotel lost its parking to the new bus terminal, and (as of now) has not found a good way to handle arrival or departure. It needs a solution. The only parking now is on the street (which is generally available a short block away for modest cost). We were not alerted about this in advance. Payment with a USA-based Visa card did not work, but the manager arranged for a link that did. In most locations around Baku, it works fine and the hotel was working on a fix. Wifi was a problem on the 8th floor, with weak signal. It took a day or so, but the hotel provided a signal extender that offered 5G service not detectable on the regular system. That worked much, much better. Gym needs some upgrading.

Our junior suite was spacious, clean and well equipped, allowing a fantastic view of the city, parks and sea. Breakfast was varied and satisfying. The location was excellent, with accessibility to various shops, restaurants and parks. Room service was very good, and the food menu was extensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We did not like the attitude of one particular receptionist. We arranged to stay in the rooms till 1:30 with his colleague. He did not believe us, and insisted that we check out at 12:00. I argued with him and asked him to check with his colleague. Eventually the matter was sorted out, but his attitude of disbelieving a guest was annoying and unacceptable. Another point we noticed at breakfast during the last 3 days of our stay is that items were not replaced when finished. There were too many guests who took large amounts, thus finishing most of the display and limiting choice.

It is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, for rather long periods (two weeks each). The rooms are large, the equipment (bathroom, air conditioning, TV, kettle, microwave and fridge) is functional, the staff is kind and competent. The breakfast is OK, without being extraordinary. It was the only hotel I stayed with breakfast starting at 6.30 a.m. Location perfect - 10-20 minutes walk to all main attractions, 3 minutes to the metro station and to bus station for all directions (including airport) - with at least 10 good restaurants around.

There are more ”wear and tear” signs than in my previous stay. The free coffee is terrible - but this is a problem for all hotels I stayed in Baku.

It was very great hotel, staff location everything was perfect you would feel like home with kitchen and washing machine. Many thanks to Parviz night shift manager who made my stay worth it.

During July, temperatures are very high in the day. The AC must be fixed or improved.

I loved everything about this place, the staff was super friendly & helped with everything. I extended my stay here & enjoyed their hospitality. The location of this hotel is 10/10! You put a step out & you have reached the 28 May Metro station, train station & public buses. The 28 May Mall is right opposite this hotel. The Room: I had the best time here! The rooms are so big & spacious. The amenities are world-class. The second room that I booked was an executive Suite & they provided me one with a balcony with a view of the entire Baku!! The breakfast: LOVED IT! The sausages were super yummy! They also had a locker facility where I could keep my luggage on the days I didn't have my room booked with them & I was travelling outside Baku. This was a major green flag for their hospitality. My luggage was kept in safe lockers & only I knew the code. An extra +10 for this! THE STAFF here is the best! Such warm & kind people. If I ever visit Baku again, I will for sure book this hotel only. <3

The location of the hotel is excellent for its closeness to a metro station, the train station, Mall 28, lots of shops and the Corniche. Staff is very nice and helpful. My room, located on the corner of a high floor, was practically a loft, with a 180 degrees uninterrupted view over city, a well equipped kitchenette, a couch area, a very comfortable bed and desk for work. I loved the idea of offering a launderette room where guests can do their own laundry!

In my opinion, the design of the entrance and reception could be a little spruced up - they do not do justice to what the level of services and facilities that the hotel offers.

Most of the services are good. Another advantage is that it's right next to the 28th May metro station which has public transport (metro & buses) to most of the places within Baku. The airport shuttle too departs right opposite from the hotel.

There's a disclaimer put in the bathroom stating AZN 500 fine for spilling water which is a shock since there's no sliding door to close the shower area. Had to have bath with a very low shower pressure to ensure the water doesn't spill outside the bath area and to avoid the fine.

The hotel location is superb and very easy to move around. A lot of good restaurants are just within walking distance, and there are plenty of types of food to choose from. Plenty of varieties are served for breakfast by the Hotel and come with lovely city and park views. The airport transfer bus stops right in front of the hotel, which was convenient for us.

I've traveled a lot around the world for work, and I can say that this hotel gave me the best experience ever! - I lived in a huge room with panoramic windows for a very reasonable price - The breakfast was very good - Every Thursday there was a free dinner with drinks at the hotel restaurant - The hotel is even equipped with the free laundry for the hotel quests! - The location is very good - everything is close around - The staff was very nice and friendly Once again - I've never had such a fantastic experience staying at a hotel for work!
