The room was very clean and the design was 10/10. Best hotel in Sylhet for sure and good location if you want to be near the airport

The entire hotel smelt of cigarette smoke and even our non smoke room you can actually smoke in and only pay a $20 fine rather than the hotel being completely smoke free breakfast food was just okay not delicious and meals outside of that were extortionate even for someone used to London prices

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Sylhet Hotel and Resort, and I want to give a special shoutout to Akbar, the receptionist. Akbar's friendliness and helpfulness made my experience truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to assist me during my stay, and his warm and welcoming demeanor left a lasting impression. We loved the interior of the room. Bed was comfy. Lots of amenities. Excellent location. Very friendly staff (always smiling). Food was alright, no complaints. Thank you for providing free shuttle service to the airport.

Bath robe policy - which was provided only in Suites. We stayed in Deluxe King Room. Did not understand the logic behind not having it in every room. P.S: we did not really need it, just were surprised by it.

The best hotel and resort in Sylhet, highly recommend! Cleanliness was amazing. The food was good, room service for food is reasonably priced, however, buffet was overpriced I think. Swimming pool was decent could be cleaner but not their fault as it was a rooftop pool so bugs entering was inevitable. Nice gift shops on the ground floor, had an aracade and shisha lounge and movie theatre, quite unique for a hotel especially in Bangladesh.

The price for the buffet could be lower as I thought it was overpriced. Pool could be a bit more cleaner and for the jets to have worked in the hot tub.

Was very new and clean. Felt like I was in Thailand or Malaysia which was great. Also had the only shisha lounge in all of syhlet and few touristy shops. Really enjoyed my stay and will be staying again even though I have my own block of flats 10 minutes down the road. I loved the location even though it was far from the center. It was really quiet and you couldn’t hear car horns every 2 seconds.

Weirdly the staff stopped me at check out saying that there was a towel missing from my room. There held me there for about 15 minutes asking where the extra towel was. That’s the only reason I’m giving an 9 and not a 10.

The breakfast was very good. Ordered hot cooked omelette andi had it with paratha,veg, and dhall. The tea served to the table from my request.There was fresh fruits and many other choices. I would recommend the breakfast to others us there was so much choices from English to Asian. I did also have dinner in the Hotels signature restaurant with my family in the evening.we decided to have the buffet.I would say some of the dishes was warm and could be hotter and better in taste specially the International dishes and Bangladeshie and Asian dishes was very good.

Unfortunately I wasn’t happy with the noise outside my room which I think was caused by the generator fan.It did make it hard for me to get a good night sleep.. I went to bed late around 1pm so I felt it was too late for me to complain to the manager.

Breakfast was buffet style - good quality. The rooms and beds were super comfortable as would expect from a 5 star. Romm service was superb in speed and attentiveness and its quite clear that the staff are very well trained in customer service. Particularly Tahmina at the front desk, but every single member of staff we encountered from security to room attendants were super polite and helpful. Meals were good but not outstanding for the price. The building and its facilities were excellent.

1. There MUST be a taxi service at a 5 star hotel. They had an excellent airport shuttle, a huge comfortable airconditioned 8 seater, why not charge to take guests to the town ? 2. There MUST be an ATM at a 5 star hotel. Particularly one which isnt in the town centre. 3 somethings could have been available at night as easy to source like ice cream or drinks, and werent. Only the limited night menu was allowed. 4. I think a discounted rate for long stays would encourage guests to stay longer!

We had a three night stay here in August and we couldn’t have asked for a much better place to stay during our time in Sylhet. The location isn’t too far from the airport and the pick up and drop off service is very easy and reliable. The staff are so welcoming, professional and friendly and we really felt comfortable being in the hotel. The rooms are clean and cosy, and we slept well every night. The beds are spacious and comfortable, and we are an unmarried couple who shared a room which was fine by them. Shower products and towels are provided.

Wi-Fi however was pretty unusable, which was very frustrating at times. Also the room service we had delivered on a number of occasions wasn’t very good, and we have definitely eaten better food throughout our time in Bangladesh.

Lovely service. Lots of spa sessions available. Has a few shops. Staff are very helpful. Good buffet breakfast. They have sauna that is paid for and free gym. You can go as day guest. Buffet only on Friday and Saturday and only when they have enough guests, otherwise you just order from menu. Great place to stop off when coming into Sylhet or leaving from airport.

The swimming pool looked slightly dated. Maybe in busier season will be more appetising to use.

This is truly an international quality 5 star hotel with excellent facilities and amenities. Their roof top swimming pool and cabana is an excellent chill out area as well as the indoor sheesha lounge. Their buffet dinner was excellent quality with variety of options. Special mention for brother Imran at the Signature evening buffet - he really looked after us and provided an excellent service. Loved the Sheesha lounge also.

Breakfast options were good but could be improved further. Couldn’t find any bread but there is a good Asian breakfast options. Staff were really friendly.
