We loved the staff, the beauty of the hotel and grounds, the rooms that all overlooked the grounds at the front of the hotel, the balconies, the two restaurants. The hotel location is also great, in a quiet location just a short walk from the Hastings boardwalk.

It would be nice to have a small drinks fridge in each room and an ice making machine replace the bucket of melting ice in the hall. As a larger couple we would like to see larger beds (King Size or Super King Size) as there is plenty of space in the rooms for them! Perhaps two large singles which can be zip linked together would give greatest flexibility? The hotel should do this when they next replace the beds. The pillows were a little too firm for our liking.

The breakfast was great. We were pleased with the taste and the options. The staff was always pleasant and friendly, and we felt welcomed whenever they saw us. The location of the Hotel and the Boardwalk was also excellent. I saw monkeys on the compound one morning before going for a walk; seeing them was amazing.

The pool. It was our fault that we did not go into the pool. I loved the fact that it was clean and it looked so inviting. I would have gone swimming if I was not so shy. If I have to say anything about what I didn't like, it will be about the location of the pool. I felt that everyone would be watching, I wanted to go in for a swim in the night, but I did not.

The staff are very accommodating. The rooms are cleaned quite well indeed.

The bed mattresses are too thin and a bit uncomfortable. It is not suitable for a big and tall person like myself. The desk is not ergonomically suitable for using a laptop computer. The height of the table is not correct, and the knee room under the table is too low for a tall person like myself. The unit price of printing multiple pages in the Resource Centre or at the Front Desk is too high. It should be closer to 10 cents USD per page or less, and not between 25 cents to 50 cents USD per page. Overall, the hotel can do with some improvements to meet the needs of the business traveller. For example, a heavy duty staple machine for larger documents. There are mosquitoes in the room.

Good, quiet location, within easy walk of the sea/boardwalk (3mins). Rooms were clean, wifi was great, staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable and room was large, so plenty of space, and there was a balcony with table and chairs. We just had breakfast at the hotel, which was perfectly fine, nothing fancy. There were a number of lovely restaurants along the boardwalk so finding walkable dining places isn't a problem. There is a carpark available if you hire a car.

Everything was fine. If you are going to be out and about for most of the day, then it is an ideal place to stay. It's not luxurious, stylish and modern, but it is clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was included in my booking which wasn't stated when I booked the room so it was a pleasant surprise. It meant that I didn't have to spend time and money finding places to have breakfast every morning. Excellent location, close to a few beaches, plenty of restaurants and bars along the coastal broadwalk, where you can see the most amazing sunsets. Staff were all extremely friendly and professional. If I didn't know it was a hospitality training institute I would have thought they had all been working in the industry for a very long time. They were also super approachable and were able to answer all my questions. I requested a late check out time due to my late night flight and they were to happy to arrange without charging me extra. Thanks very much honestly! Felt very comfortable and safe staying in my room alone as a solo female traveller. Room was very spacious for one person and super cozy. I had a balcony too on which I was able to catch a glimpse of the sunsets a few evenings. I had a lovely time there!

Breakfast options were slightly limited. But for a solo traveller it was better than what I could have asked for so I was very happy with the quality. Just don't expect buffet style every morning, though the portions of food will definitely fill you up. There wasn't a fridge in my room so it was harder to plan my meals as I ordered takeaway quite a few evenings and was a little frustrated about how I wasn't able to store my leftovers to eat the next day. However, the staff do check with all guests every evening and see if you need ice to make cold drinks in your room, which is very thoughtful of them.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed for a pre and post cruise stay. It is a little different to most hotels in that it also part of a hospitality staff training institute so a little unique. It is a very attractive building with a courtyard and swimming pool in the centre. We found it peaceful and relaxing during our stay and it is in good location.

There was not anything we did not like but it would have been nice to have had a small fridge (although this may have added heat and noise to the room so maybe why they have not done this except in the apartments). Guests need to be mindful that you are likely to be served by Students rather than experienced staff in the restaurants and be respectful of this. The beds were queen size but there was plenty of room for king sized beds which would make the beds even more spacious and special.

The layout of the hotel was a colonial style, it was clean and well maintain. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. There was also a security presence on site at all time. The beach and boardwalk are 5 minutes walk away and we felt very safe in the area.

There was nothing not to like. Although the Hotel is a training hotel for young people who are looking to move into the hospitality environment, it never impacted on our stay as there was always superision from experienced staff.

The breakfasts were brilliant. We are a vegetarian couple of mature years and our dietary requirements were catered for The chef cooked a little extrz veg, chard one day , spinach the next, to complrment the veggie options available .A good show for a hospitality training venue. Theclocation is great for Hastings beach and boardwalk. The pool looked very inviting. Though we did not get around to using it. we saw many families and couples enjoying it.

A small kettle in the room would be useful. We had to boil watet in the coffee machine.

I love small hotels and this one I recommend if you are looking for tranquillity away from your usual tourist pool culture. It is also located off the main road in a serene neighbourhood area of Hastings. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and I was very well taken care of. The area is walking distance to Rookley beach ( Accra beach) via the boardwalk and there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Thank you Pom Marine for your hospitality.!!!

When I booked this I thought it was a bit of a gamble as this is the hotel/college where they train hospitality students. All the staff and students treated us very well. The hotel is very clean and well run and is in a good area close to the bus route into Bridgetown or Oistins, the beach, shops and restaurants. Pool was very clean. We enjoyed a dinner cooked and served by the students all at a very reaonable price and the wine was excellent. Great to watch the monkeys from our balcony. Breakfast was served to us daily to a very high standard

Latest time to order dinner was 7.30pm which was a little early for us but it was made up by the service and food given to us. A fridge in the room would be a great asset. I was originally asked to return the hair dryer when I had finished using it but I explained I would need it everyday and was told that as I was the only person who had requested it I could keep it for the duration. It made me think that there was only one hairdryer available to use
