Superb location, magnificient building, comfortable and quite spacious rooms, the feeling of staying in a castle. The prices of the minibar were surprisingly fair, around the prices you usually get at the train station. (Just 2-2,5 times more than normal price, unlike in most of the expensive hotels)
The room could be cleaner (there was some mould near the windows), The staff was friendly but it could have been better. There were no toiletries apart from a tank with soap and another one with shower/hair gel hanging on the wall. To get bathrobes and pantofels, we had to go back to reception and ask for it.

The chateau is a lovely building in a beautiful location. Although it is winter and so the gardens were not full of colour, it was still lovely. Very quiet resulting in a good night’s sleep. We chose to eat in the restaurant. The evening meal was superb and excellent value for money. Service was also excellent by our waiter Luka. Breakfast buffet also excellent. The shower was good, the room had a bath. The bed was large and comfortable. There was a fridge, mini bar. The hairdryer was an old fixed to the wall type. Luckily I took my own. Kettle and coffee machine provided.
We weren’t able to use the EV charger. We have an electric car that we drove from the UK so it was a great disappointment to not be able to charge the car during our stay. Hotel reception said the charger was not theirs even though it was in their car park and said it was up to us to know how to use it. It had no instructions or QR code. The only option was to plug in and scan a card. It wouldn’t take a payment card.

Impressive building & location above Namur. Room was rather small but comfortable bed & good bathroom. It was easy to catch the cable car down to the lovely town of Namur below though it shut down at 6pm so it would be hard to spend the evening there. It’s a hotel training school & we weren’t sure what to expect concerning the food but the meal was amazing. It wasn’t particularly cheap, €50 a head for 3 courses, but one of the best meals I’ve eaten for several years. The breakfast was also very good.
The room was rather small & dark with just one small window. The lighting panel on the headboard in the bedroom was confusing, annoying & kept us awake at night as the lights could be seen all night long.

The hotel is located on the top of a hill behind the citadelle which is in walking distance. The hotel itself as a chateau looks quite impressive. The breakfast was really good. The staff helped us to book event tickets via phone because we do not speak French.
The chateau and its surroundings look beautiful, but it comes with a price. Its location is quite remote to the city center. We always took the car, but finding a good parking spot was not always easy near the city center. Also, the chateau as an event location is also booked for weddings and similar which means that there might be still some noise after midnight on weekend days. We have experienced that on the first night, but it was quiet after 0:30.

Beautiful located chateau overlooking the city just above the citadel. Free parking with lot's of space and easy to access the city by the cable car, which is a fun ride with a view. The chateau itself is also a beautiful building, especially from the outside. There restaurant looked very nice as well, but beware that you need to book on beforehand, a detail that we missed. The hotel staff were also very friendly.
Unfortunately the cable car stops in the early evening and there were no bus lines in the evening either. After a while we managed to get hold of a taxi to take us back, since we didn't have the energy to walk up the steep hill. If you haven't booked a table at the restaurant you don't get access to the nice terass outside, which would have been nice such warm evening as it was. The inside of the hotel is nice and clean, but the corridors are a bit empty for a chateau. It feel more like a castle from the outside than on the inside.

Lovely setting of the hotel on the hill of Namur. Reception staff on arrival was very friendly. The room was good and comfortable. Breakfast was very good in the morning and eggs were cooked fresh as required. Dinner was good but it took a long time to be served and the waiting staff (I know they are students) were not very organized. I would stay again and it would be nicer to stay at a different time of the year when the garden was open.
Slow service at dinner time.

We thought the hotel was luxurious and very special. When we drove up, I thought we were in the wrong place! It was like a dream hotel, and our room was beautifully detailed and very comfortable. Our doors to the balcony opened to the rose gardens which was lovely. I ran each morning around the property and felt very safe. Walking to the citadel was a bonus! Dinners were a treat and the breakfasts exceptional as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone…it was the perfect finish to our vacation.
The only small issue was that our AC did not appear to be working in the room for our first night. So we checked with the front desk the next morning and they took care of the problem apparently because our room cooled down by the afternoon.

The room was very clean and It was beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel is great with great views over the city. The reception was very friendly and informative. The breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent.
The light switches in the room were confusing. We could not figure out how to turn off one area of the room and keep side lights on..

The hotel is largely staffed by trainee as the hotel is linked to a nearby college for tourism etc. The staff were brilliant. Attentive, polite, friendly. There are also some non-trainee staff. The food far exceeded my expectations. I intend to return.
Some of the staff could not speak English to a level I would expect in this standard of hotel.

The location was beautiful. Lovely terrace for breakfast or dinner. Staff friendy and helpful. Room clean and mini fridge handy. The hotel restaurant served a fixed menu. Not cheap but the food was delicious.
Although location was beautiful it was a long walk downhill to the town and restaurants. A hard uphill walk back. The cable car stopped at 6 o'clock so no good in the evening. A short taxi ride into town was around 20 euro so very expensive for a 2 way trip in the evening. The breakfast very good but was not included and pushed the cost up significantly but felt no choice as the town was such a distance
