Landgoed Altenbroek is beautifully situated in a valley with lush, green hills and deciduous forests. It is a place of peace and quiet and a perfect base to explore the region from. Recommended to anyone looking for a little nature and rest.

Unfortunately during our stay there was a lot of maintenance going on. This made the otherwise perfect location a little less ideal, but it was fantastic all the same. I was told this is a rare occasion as it takes place once every 50 years. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price.

There was some kind of party (I guess) the night that I spent there. The music went on until quite late, which was a bit annoying, but nothing compared how loud and disrespectful some guests were. I guess the age of the hotel didn't help... The noise insulation was really not the best. Maybe some carpets/rugs would help. You can easily follow anyone steps just by eating them walking arou d

The location and property are stunning! Dinner was really great, as were the wines. Good breakfast. Most of the staff was outstanding! Perfect for hiking and biking straight from the property.

The aircon in our room was broken dis to which we had terrible nights. It was bad luck, but the staff did what they could to get a repair and in the end we got a fair compensation for the lack of night rest. Very well handled by the staff. We did miss shower gel and conditioner in the rooms. You would expect some nice toiletries at a property like this.

Breakfast is excellent as is the restaurant. Lovely garden and surrounding. Very friendly staff. A bit off the beaten track but very good for bicycles tours.

The standard room is rather small even though all facilities are in the room. Would go for a bigger room next time. No lift, therefore difficult for disabled people.

Even though I would recommend the hotel to all friends, there were things that negatively affected our experience: - they didn’t make up our room, only changed towels - the doors and walls are not soundproof, so when people were drinking and chatting loudly in the bar area, we couldn’t sleep (around 1am)

Situated in a wonderful lush green surrounding. Very comfortable beds and very good breakfast. Beautifully renovated hotel.

Noise from the heat pump was a bit disturbing at night. Coffee at breakfast could be better.

The road was a bit rough and dirty because of the rain, no tarmac or stones.

The location and the atmosphere. The breakfast was truly amazing, everything included. We also had dinner there, but this was quite expensive, although the food was good.

We missed a heater or rack to dry our towels on, and the temperature in the room was regulated by an airco that made quite some noise.
