It's a really lovely hotel in like 20 walking seconds distance of the railway station! what you get is a stay in an old, lovey house with its own character. there's a need to walk some narrow steep stairs but still the shower and bathrooms are very modern - so really the best of all worlds. Plus the breakfast was great, self-cooked and tasted well. Additional it has to be said that the madam at the reception was very friendly about arriving late due to train delays - just underlines the positive, human character of this hotel

The only thing hat i disliked was the mattress of the bed - it felt a bit old and i had trouble sleeping in the first night, although it wasn't a factor from the second night, so it's a question of getting used to it.

We arrived much earlier than we expected but that wasn't an issue. The welcome from Maggy was warm and friendly. Our room was very clean and had tea / coffee making facilities, a small fridge and a mobile fan / cooling unit, which was very handy as the temperature for September was almost 30°. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very powerful shower. Breakfast was continental but was varied and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it felt very comfortable and friendly. Super value and great facilities for a 2 star Hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I can't think of any negative, although the stairs might be an issue for some not so able.

Had a 2 night stay as I was doing a track day at Spa-Francorchamps. Hotel is in a great location close to motorway and only a 20min drive from circuit. The staff were really friendly and helpful and there is plenty of off road parking too. I stayed in a twin room which was super clean and spacious, and the shower was nice and hot too unlike other places I have stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay again if I’m ever in the area again.

The only negative I can think of is the view out the window was just buildings, that said though the sun did rise on that side of the hotel and lit my room up nicely in the mornings. (I personally would happily stay in that room again).

Great hosts, great location next to the rail station, and a great price. The room was comfortable with ensuite shower and separate toilet plus ample tea and coffee facilities. The hotel cafe closes at 7pm but there is a fabulous French style bistro next door where we had a marvellous meal. Our host Maggy serve an ample and delicious breakfast from 7am in the morning so I could get to Spa race track on time. Recommended.

Reception was very friendly and helpfull. Because I needed to leave early next day, the owner was making the breakfast earlier available. Also the owner was very friendly. Nice comfy room with all facilities available. Also free parking next to the Hotel. When you need to be in the Neighborhood, I can recommend this hotel.

Because of the outside high temperature, the room was pretty warm. A ventilator was available but was not sufficient to get the room cooler.

Charming small hotel, very ‘Belgian’. Friendly and helpful staff. Can eat in hotel but waitress gave us recommendation for Il Vieux Bourg locally which was excellent, buzzing with locals with perfect regional choices. Also excellent parking !

This hotel is very well kept, and madame Maggy is very welcoming. We had the top floor rooms that over looked the town and train station. There is ample parking for guests right next to the hotel which is a plus. Our rooms were very clean and well presented and even though we didn't sample the beer list it was very extensive.

Very friendly owners. This centrally located Hotel is charming and priced fairly. Good on site restaurant also. Beds were confortable and the bathroom also. Nicely decorated rooms.

There is no elevator but that is mentioned on the website and not (yet...) a problem for me. So it's not really a complaint, just worth mentioning.

This was the 5th time I've stayed here and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I visit Verviers. The hotel and the bar have a beautifully old fashioned charm and as a solo traveler the warm welcome on arrival is always appreciated. The location right next to the Central Station and about 10 minutes walk from the Spirit of 66 are a perfect combination

Lovely old hotel with a beautiful cafe/bar downstairs. The owner is extremely friendly and took great care of me after a few days hiking. Buffet breakfast for only EUR11. Fantastic value. Great location.

The room was simply but had everything I needed. Unfortunately the cafe closes a little too early for dinner (7pm).
