Rooms were superb and exceeded our expectations, especially with the evening turn down service. Mr Kufa, the food and beverage line manager was super friendly and personalised our dining experience. The food was super delicious curtesy of chef B and chef Colin and crew. All the staff were friendly and they went an extra mile to make our stay and our Dad's birthday memorable,l. The sunsets over the river Chobe will make you fall in love over and over, the game drives and river cruise will satisfy your dreams of experiencing wildlife live close and personal. We absolutely loved every moment of our stay.

Staff: super supportive. One of the member of our party injured, and Cresta staff immediately checked her status, then suggested us the solutions (private doctor or public hospital) then someone escorted us to the doctor then the pharmacy. Food: extremely rich breakfast, fantastic selection of foods for dinner. All the three evenings the staff congratulated to the guests who had anniversary with some folk-dance and singing improvized. The park: everywhere warthogs, some bushbucks, banded mongooses and cheeky vervets (be careful, they are stealers!) Rooms: cosy Programs: there is a travel office on site, and they organize trips to Vic Falls, Chobe Game Reserve and boat cruises on Chobe River.

Perfect place.

We were unlucky that there was a stay of the MP of Namibia during our stay. That meant all parking was taken by police cars. We arranged to clear and return our rented camper at the hotel parking, which was a bit problematic. Our shuttle service to the airport was strongly hindered by the slow departure of the same MP. Nevertheless the staff were very nice and arranged a way around and dropped us at the airport. The staff returned to the airport to help us when they heard that the flight to Maun had been delayed by 11 hours. They offered us to stay at the hotel, but we had meanwhile arranged alternative flight. Nevertheless it was a great gesture by the hotel staff to support us.

The restaurant was clearly focussed on buffet and could not deal with a-la-carte orders. The meal was very late and poor, compensating poor taste by quantity. Life music was poor with bad acoustics. However the breakfast was extremely good, fresh and rich. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was amazing with views from the restaurant over the Chobe river. The activities desk was extremely helpful and organized a private birding boat trip for us with a birding guide as well as a full day drive to Chobe National Park with lunch. The sunset cruise departing directly from the hotel is also recommended. Our family room was spacious, modern and clean.

The food on the a la carte menu was hit or miss. My lunch wrap was great, but my son's pizza was not. Rather stick to the buffet at night and basics for lunch from the pool menu like wraps or burgers. Pool menu also better value for money than main restaurant menu.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always brilliant in all fairness

No good communication from Mowana Lodge leading to the holiday dates booked as emails/platform messages were not responded to as expected in comparison to other properties of the same standard and that nearly spoilt our holiday as I kept chasing for the payment to be taken off my account.

The hotel is directly at the Chobe river, providing excellent views to the water and in the garden you can see animals all day. You don’t have to plan any activities in advance, since the hotel provides ample opportunities to float on the river or get to a safari to the national park. The rooms are spacious, excellent breakfast and dinner is served. We had a wonderful time.

Overall great experience. My wife and I had a great time staying there. Central to the city, on the banks of the Zambezi river, quiet, and the staff was welcoming. Really great choice for family and relaxation time.

Nothing to report here. Our experience was great from beginning to end the stay was great. Restaurant, Spa, and other services were great as well. We had some special last minutes requests and the restaurant accommodated them without any issue.

What a lovely resort right in Kasane. We had a very poor experience at the lodge prior to this one and so booked if very last minute (the morning of) and the place couldn't have been more wonderful. From the bellman who greets you at arrival through to the front desk team and everyone else we encountered while there. The place is clean, well kept and the grounds are very lovely (warthogs and monkeys right outside of our room!). Would absolutely come back!

I loved the view from the bar but also from the room. I loved the room space, the housekeeping team was good and preparing the mosquito net over the bed every night, the spa was great. Max’s massages were amazing. The whole personnel was helpful.

The two persons at the bar , the one with the amazing view on the river, seemed really lost and to get some food was super long. The regular pool was closed.

I had lots of problems getting a good WIFI connections, good verity at the buffet but food was barley warm. Some tours were not available at the tour desk based on the minimum required people.
