A comfortable hotel very close to the airport. A free airport shuttle is available and we used this to travel to the airport. Very nice grounds with outdoor bar and friendly, casual atmosphere. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and chose the buffet which was very good value. Breakfast had many options and was included in our package. Staff very friendly. We would recommend this hotel.

The shuttle had already left for the hotel when our plane arrived at Maun airport however one of the nearby hotels happily gave us a lift in their shuttle. They seem to help one another out which was appreciated.

The location in the village is excellent, in the centre of Maun. - The older lady who worked at the bar and in the restaurant was extremely sweet and turned out to be the perfect guest carer. She has worked hard, there for many years and deserves special praise. Unfortunately, we didn't write her name down. - There was a psychopath next to our room who was constantly crying and ranting. The hotel manager helped us to spend the night more quietly. The man was moved to a secluded room at night. - Book a room without a connecting door. - Avoid the travel agency in the hotel, the lady there spoke no English and the documents are not excellent. If you want to travel individually, call Mr Face, +267 73 124 198, who is also well known in the hotel and speaks very well in English.

The rooms are very ring-shaped, aggravated by passage doors. You could hear every noise in the neighbouring room. The rooms were also very worn, but just acceptable. Having been in operation for another two years, the rooms by the river are in need of renovation. However, the hotel has already started to renovate the hotel wing, but we did not see these rooms.

A great place to rest before or after setting out into the bush, or for seeing more of the Okavango Delta by small plane or by mokoro (I went about 90 minutes away by jeep and had a great day, alone on the Delta with my mokoro poler.) The setting has lovely mature shade trees, a mid-sized pool, a restaurant, a bar, and several different buildings for the rooms. Mine was in the back of the property and I appreciated the quiet. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the shuttle service to/from the airport is very convenient. There are also some shops not far from the hotel. I really appreciated that the receptionist was able to fix a booking error I had made, as I needed 3 nights and not 4. Overall, an enjoyable experience, and so nice to take a dip in the pool when it is really hot in Maun!

Minor improvements to make: On the first night, I did not have my suitcase, as it arrived 24 hours later, so it would have been nice to have had hand soap and lotion in the dispensers in the bathroom. Right by the swimming pool there were a number of bees, so some measure to displace them would be nice.

This is a nice place where the staff, particularly in the reception were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked it. Nice Chairs to relax in. Central in Maun, but it was quiet at night. Liked the Bar in the garden Would I go back again? Oh Yes Good airport pick up and take back service

One of the Evening Dinners that was served, whilst we were in the hotel, was a self-service meal from the counter. That seemed to coincide with a coach tour where guests stayed at the hotel. We would have much preferred a relaxing meal from the main menu like was served on other evenings.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Its safe. Guards at the entrance. Nice pool bar. Dinner a la card. We were lucky. The first evening was buffet. Ant mosquito repellent in the rooms. Rooms clean. Beds very comfortable. Opposite the reception is 'Africa Excursions' with Dimpho. She has wonderful tours to offer. We took game drive, boat tour and scenic flight.

No hair dryer in room 29. The Hotel paths are not for rolling suitcases. Water saving shower in the room. You hardly get clean.

Location was ideal walking distance to town centre Breakfast Good choice from continental to full English Had full breakfast each day except when had to leave early to catch a flight and on day of going to Moremi Packed breakfast was provided on that day All the staff were very guest friendly, very helpful

Whole hotel needs to be refurbished Refurbishment has started on one of the blocks I am assuming this is just the beginning of complete refurbishment

Breakfast was great, the sausages were tasty and juicy and the omelette was very delicious. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming.

There was a water kettle in the room that was not very well maintained (could see that it was dirty at the bottom). There was also no drainage outlets in the bathrooms, which would cause water to pool in outisde the shower area...

The staff couldn’t do enough to help me and make me comfortable. It was very clean and my room was lovely!

There wasn’t much to do around the property in the way of entertainment. When I went into the street men would shout at me which made me uncomfortable.

The hotel was located near to local amenities in Kasane. The shuttle service was excellent and the rooms, especially those with the thatched ceilings, were comfortable and calm. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm and the staff were all cheerful and friendly. the grounds of the hotel were particularly pleasing and provided a wonderful haven for guests with tables dotted about for al fresco eating etc.

The buffet breakfast was excellent. Good, fresh food. The location is outstanding. Central to the shopping are of Maun, close to the airport. Perfect for preparing for the Moremi expedition. The staff are so naturally friendly and helpful, it was a total pleasure to be there. Ka leboga!
