For sure one the best experiences I had in Brasil so far! I loved everything about this place. Situated in a lovely and cosy neighborhood, just in front of “La ilha do Japonês”, which is just one of the most beautiful spots that I have ever seen in Brazil. The hotel is the perfect spot if you are visiting “ A região dos lagos”, since it’s just in between Arraial do Cabo and Armação dos Búzios. The area is very safe and less than 5 minutes walk to the best restaurants of the region. The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean, but I would like to highlight the professionalism of and kindnesses of the staff. Caroline, Marcelo and Gilberto are extremely qualified people, who bring excellence to customer satisfaction and high up the standards of “Brazilian hospitality”. They provided me with several advices and made me feel like at home. I enjoyed the experience so much that I came back a few days later again and will definitely come back when I have the chance again.

The hotel staff was super friendly and the hotel looked amazing. The location couldn't be better, next to the bustle of the city and awesome restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, everything we tried tasted great. The bedrooms are also nice and big, and they were super clean.

Not exactly a down side, but the parking was a bit hard to find. It's a blue gate before the main entrance of the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and very well located. Rooms are clean and spacious enough (4-star hotel). We booked a massage that was great. Boat to Isla del Japones in front of the hotel. Excellent restaurants nearby.

We booked two superior rooms (10 and 21 -do not book these) that were actually worse (size, bathroom, location) than the 3 other standard rooms we booked. Felt like we were not given what we paid for. Some of the reception staff are not friendly enough and do not speak English. Not enough sunbeds.

The property is beautiful and located in a nice spot close to some good bar and restaurants. The man at reception was very helpful when we checked in. The room is spacious the pool area is nice.

There was a very bad drainage smell from the bathroom and a lot of humidity behind the bed. There appeared to be a broken pipe behind as lines from water leak were there. The channels on tv do not work the signal is bad the internet is also not good in the room. The woman at reception could not recommend a laundry but there were several ones located in town

The building is beautiful. The location is excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Everything was great, except for a couple of small issues. We booked two suites, and unfortunately, my room had a few issues. The inner curtain was stuck and the TV image quality was very bad. This was especially important because I was with my mother, who follows Brazilian series (novelas), so she watched TV every night.

Wonderfully restored Brazilian colonial period house, which originally belonged to the Brazilian imperial family. Located in the Passagem bairro of Cabo Frio, the hotel is close to restaurants and cafes in this historic quarter. Very attentive and friendly english speaking staff. Lovely clean and well equiped room. Nice buffet breakfast.

The front gate sticks shut and needs fixing.

We went to Brazil for a couple of weeks and by far they had the best breakfast. Property was very nice and quaint. We loved it

The only thing that I could complain about is the final price for checking out. Maybe it is booking.com issue but there was an additional service fee that was not included in the price on Booking.com. We could not understand why we had to pay more for a service fee.

A pitfall was that the sauna was not working. So in a rainy day we ended up a bit blocked in our room
