The best thing about this property is its location and secured parking garage. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are of the standard quality, rather basic but clean, spacious and relatively new. This place is just a few steps away from busy historic centre, in a quiet street.
There are no dislikes. Everything was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that there was no hairdryer in the room. When I asked at the reception they said that they have some but they were all taken by other guests. So there are not enough hairdryers for everyone. For a place in that price range I thought it was a bit cheap arrangement.

Great location - right at Centro Histórico but slightly removed from the super busy areas. Our room was spacious, and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a great variety of options. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The private parking garage is a key perk!!!
The towels could be of better quality, a couple had stains too. Our room faced the street and was a bit noisy at night (there’s a bar across the street and the window wasn’t soundproof).

The beautiful Pousada, location, pool, spacious room, free covered parking, owners, who tried their best to understand our needs, although we couldn’t speak Portuguese (and they couldn’t speak English)
The mattress of double bed was too hard to my personal taste. The old (beautiful( windows do not isolate well and it’s not a problem if your neighbors are not too loud. Ours were enjoying their time until late at night :-(

I’ve been coming to this place for over 15 years and it’s been several years since I was last here. It’s great to see they’re redecorated and modernised the rooms but the warm welcome and hospitality is still as it’s always been. Thank you to Benedito who helped arrange a private speed boat for a day trip.

The room was beautiful, we stayed in a suite and it was very nice, the jacuzzi bath was lovely, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the location was right beside the old city

Nice swimming pool, perfect location. Staff was friendly and efficient. The lady working in the breakfast was incredibly nice and pleasant to talk to!
Rooms were a bit dark, there should be more windows. My towels were stained. Nothing was provided for bath apart from quite cheap soaps. No information was given during check in about wifi, breakfast. etc. But I think the biggest problem is the price. It is quite expensive for what you get.

The location is perfect just a couple of blocks from the start of the colonial city. The garage was also very good.
There were mosquitoes but I guess that´s something we have to bear.
