We've stayed here three times before, and although we like the location and the overall amenities (pool, bar, restaurant), the quality of service has diminished with each visit to the point that we will likely seek other accommodations the next time we come to Santos.

We had to move from the first room we received because there was a a 4-square-foot size piece of plaster broken off from the ceiling. When we went to dinner that evening, we ordered a la carte, and it took nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive. I went to the bar on the top floor the second night we were there, and there was no bartender. Two other staff members came in and said they would get the bartender who arrived about 10 minutes later.

I was here for work, and worked in the evenings in the bar most nights for the week I stayed. Guilherme who works in the bar was fantastic. He was always very friendly and helpful, and made great cocktails. He made my stay so much better. Please let him know, I said thank you! The bar has such great views of the city, and the location is great.

I feel I was always rushed to leave breakfast. The staff were nice, but often would take cutlery whilst I was eating, or take drinks whilst I was drinking. I think the intention was for staff to be attentive, but it felt like they wanted me to leave. I don't think it's the staff's fault, but when the hotel isn't busy, watching on every glass being put down feels too much. It felt uncomfortable. But the staff were just trying to be nice, I think?

The hotel is located in a prime location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. We were greeted at the reception by the lovely Tiago, who was really polite and always made us feel welcome with a smile whenever we entered the hotel during our 5 days in Santos. Our seaview room on the 30th floor was very spacious, and had the most amazing shower, a Nespresso coffee machine and stunning views of the sea and the city. The buffet breakfast was very good, with a variety of cooked breakfast, continental breakfast, an arrays of fruits, cold meats and cheeses. The room service meal was also very tasty. Overall, a great hotel offering everything you need for a pleasant stay in the heart of Santos.

The pool didn’t look very good when we went up to view it. There was some maintenance being done, so although the pool was still open for use, we decided to give it a miss.

An expresso machine at the room would be fantastic - there's only a kettle, but no tea or Nescafe basket, which is kind of strange

- noise in toilette in room 1802 due to a leak of water - no shampoo and conditionner in shower - one hanger broken. - the room of the restaurant is not wonderful. no more natural light.

Amazing breakfast. The bathroom was really cool with the glass walls and all. Everything was well cleaned. Amazing beds, very comfy.

The amount of personal information asked at the reception on the check in! Maybe its a Brazil thing but made me really uncomfortable.

Spacious bedrooms, great breakfast, nice staff.

Coffee machines were off during breakfast, swimming pool is too small.
