Great staff - very polite and very welcoming. Stanislav and Katia makes you feel you are at your own home. Spacious, clean and comfortable room with balcony overlooking the beautiful surrounding mountains. Free parking space and in both sides of the hotel there were supermarkets. If you are planning to go to Borovets, I think this is a better option than the overpriced resort hotels and only 10 - 12 minutes by car from the slopes. Delicious home made food for dinner

Sometimes the restaurant gets too crowdy in the evening maybe because of the plite staff and the delicious food they serve.

This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever. Hotel GRAND in Samokov is an excellent hotel. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. The food were amazing, delicious Bulgarian traditional cuisine. The service was exceptional as well: Staff were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 9 am. They were hospitable, friendly, helpful and there for every need we had, they made us feel like a part of the family. My mum is disabled, wheelchair bound and very difficult transferring. Katia is great person, she showed empathy and provided my mum with choices of warm food in the room when she was being unable to get out. The location of the hotel is great- very Central in the town. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists and friends who want to go to Samokov. Thank you very much Hotel Grand’s team, I will definitely stay again when I am visiting in Samokov.

I did like everything

I stayed at Hotel Grand in the beginning of January, 2023. The room at the hotel was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were fantastic: great attitude, helpful, and always available. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Samokov town. I will always stay at this location when travelling to or through this area.

Although nice there was little choice in the way of breakfasts, the main menu was excellent and fantastic value though.

One of the waitresses was rather surly (short dark one) the other one was amazing (taller with lighter hair and better spoken English) other than that we thought the place was supererb and would stay again.

We stayed at Hotel Grand and skied in Borovets. It was the best decision. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. The hotel is conveniently located, right next to three supermarkets and only a very short walk to the shuttle bus to Borovets. The shuttle bus came on time and took less than 20 mins. I cannot recommend this hotel more!

Friendly hotel, close to the town centre. Place was kept clean, the room was a good size with a balcony, nice shower room and a fridge. The bar and restaurant downstairs is actually really good and normal local prices. All the staff were really nice. About 10 minutes walk from the bus station with regular buses to sofia and borovets.

Only possible thing would be a bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch but that would have been an extra.

Clean & tidy Staff very friendly We stayed twice in 4 weeks for a ski trip. Asked if we could leave our ski equipment between the stays and it was no problem at all. Ideal location for Borovets ski resort and the excellent restaurants in Samokov.

We were at the hotel at the beginning of April. The price was excellent. The room is very big. T he location of the hotel is very good. Very close to big supermarkets and nice restaurants. There is a large parking lot.
