This is a hidden gem in Golden Sands. A perfect location, with great facilities and incredible view. The landscape was taken care of and beach and pool area were clean. There were only a few people in the hotel, but the buffet had enough food choices. We loved the salads and the soups, also the main courses were very tasty. Though we read previous reviews and expected a not very clean place, the rooms and amenities were clean. The SPA services were also very good. Bartenders and pool people (lifeguards and entertainers) were all very polite and kind to help. Same in the restaurant. Parking next to the hotel, really ok and guarded (money worth) Overall, it was a quiet stay, that we enjoyed. We have visited Golden Sands and when we saw the other hotels, we realised Riviera is really a good place to be (even it is not perfect)

All-inclusive coffee in low quality - but you can pay at the bar for Lavazza No fresh juices at breakfast Water from filters, not in bottles No free water or anything else at arrival Reception desk employees were all stressed, forgot to smile and behaved like it is a punishment to be there. We arrived earlier and were asked to come back later (in a 5 star hotel!) We were the ones telling them our options for an early booking. Rooms are not 5 stars, bathroom maybe 3 stars. Double bed was made out of 2 mattresses. The place has a very high potential, but we assumed there is a low interest in making it a 5 star hotel for real.

The location is really good, quiet and the beach was clean and not so noisy like the rest of the “Golden Sands” beaches. Food was good also, and the staff is helpful.

Like every hotel in the balcans and turkey, you can easily remove one star from their rating. So basically its a good 4star hotel, made almost 20 years ago, and barely modernized/renovated after. just regular maintenance and moderate cleaning. So do not have too high (5star) expectations and then you won’t be dissapointed. The price before the main season was okay. We spent a nice weekend there in early June (the sea is still cold, but enough warm for a quick swim ;)

Our summer holiday at the Riviera Beach Hotel in Varna: We had a wonderful family holiday with a lot of quality time for ourselves and our children. We had a spacious room with a splendid view over the sea, the swimming pools and the sea front garden of the hotel. The rooms were very properly cleaned and maintained every day. The food was always very delicious and freshly prepared. The staff is well educated and with a customer-friendly behaviour. As very well experienced customer in Bulgaria we may make the statement that Riviera Beach is the most family friendly resort at the black sea coast.

Liked everything about our stay. Location was Very nice, staff also, room was clean and the food was very good. Loved the pool and the beach.

Beach and water clean, very nice sand. Excellent food options, could do with some more options for kids though. Very big room, cleaned every two days. Nice towels and toiletries. The hotel needs an open air terrace for serving food for COVID-19 related reasons, and for the general comfort of the guests.

Restaurant was available only indoors - big dislike for health related/COVID-19 concerns. Restaurant was very crowded. Room was clean, but common areas not so i.e. hallways, elevators etc. Little food options at the beach snack bar. Sunbeds were 'reserved' for hours by other guests who put their towels on but were not at the beach - hotel management should have a policy about that as there were days when we could not find available sunbeds on the hotel beach, and this is not acceptable for an all inclusive trip. Parking is for a fee for journeys less than 7 nights.

The maids didn’t came to clean our room for 4 days and we stayed 6 days. The trash didn’t fit in the trashcan anymore.

I enjoyed its beautiful beach, comfortable rooms, lovely green areas, and inviting pools.

However, I was disappointed by the lack of good quality coffee and the average food options. Another inconvenience was the absence of drinking water in the rooms. Additionally, the WiFi stability is not great.

Outdoor space very well mantained, a lot of flowers and trees, very nice and large pool, which was close to the beach, new and very confortable sun beds, quite area

Staff was not friendly at all, food was average (diversity but the same every day), wine of very poor quality

hotel: big & as clean as can be pool: 3 pools opened - kids + playground, big pool (1,5m), interior pool restaurant: the staff was fast on cleaning, the food was enough to choose from (veg & omni), the best desert was the ice-cream... the rest.. was just sweet with no specific taste pool bar: staff didn't know cocktails :))) you had to tell the recipe, they were pretty fast, but seemed veeery bored (not nice!) pool snack bar: nice doughnuts, hotdog, ice cream (i believe the staff didn't know english, but he tried his best really, and was nice & fast) beach: very close to hotel (50m), clean, with sun beds & free zone (the guest are terror, they kept the sun-beds occupied from day-to-day with towels) playground: a nice place for small kids room: queen double bed + extensible sofa, clean...

staff: well... they were all bored... really! the bartenders, the reception... mostly the animators. sometimes it felt that we disturb them :) road to the hotel: sinuous road, and not at all smooth :)))
