A lovely location right on the beach, perfect if you want to relax. Comfortable beds, working AC, friendly staff. We stayed in 2nd row, and did not use the loft, but felt like it could get quite hot up there. Mosquito net provided, but not needed as long as you keep doors and windows closed. A lot of trash drifts in on the beach with the tide and wind, but the sol beach part of beach was cleaned every day. the parts of the beach without hotels, had a lot of trash. Breakfast was nice and selection sufficient (American, Pancake, yoghurt, fruit, eggs). Not many choices for other meals, and only 1 or 2 basic vegetarian option. A bit more expensive than the restaurants near the Pier (8 dollars for main course, you could find similar for 6) but nice if you want a quiet night and skip the walk. NB that a big part of the price is the location, meaning that if you want Luxury, you can get a more fancy hotel for a cheaper price in Siem Reap for example.

Room was okay clean, but not spotless (bathtub did not look inviting, some dusty surfaces).

Through no fault of its own the beach and the sea were littered with plastic and polystyrene.it was truly appalling to walk down and see the absolute disrespect the locals paid to the environment .

The best location on the beach - fabulous to be able to leave bungalow and in seconds be on a sun lounger chilling or swimming in the sea. Bungalow very clean and comfortable.

Restaurant ok for a quick spot of lunch or a snack but generally very quiet so we found it better to do the 10 minute walk on the seafront to other restaurants - really easy and shouldn’t influence your stay at this great location

The beach is amazing, and very clear. there are sun umbrellas and sunbeds. Breakfasts were very yummy. Very good location, just 5 min walk from mini markets. Very comfy bungalow. Amazing staff, very kind and friendly. The hotel provides free round-transfer to the ferry pear. Also, the hotel has a spa& massage - it was amazing!

We heard that a local government wants to remove all hotels from that location. It's very bad. Please, save this place and nature. Save the local businesses.

Beautiful spacious bungalows right on the beach with a huge, comfortable bed, big bathroom with great shower as well as a fridge and a safe. We initially thought the price was a big high, but compared to other resorts on the island, this has to be the best value for money. There’s plenty of sunbeds and hammocks to chill on the perfectly clean beach and underneath the trees. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The included breakfast as well as the other food we tried was not very good. Also the restaurant area is not very inviting. There’s some room for improvement.

Great communication from the resort. They helped with transfers and everything else. The beach bungalows were cleaned daily. Breakfast is good, and you could have more or mix up their menu suggestions. The sausages and pancakes were the best 👌 It was the quiet side of the beach, which was perfect for us. 10 - 15-minute walk to where restaurants and couple of bars are situated. Beware, there are times water is high in places, and you need to walk through it. One place nearest the bars does have a wooden plank a bit further inland, which acts as a bridge. Alternatively, you could use a water taxi. This place is not 5 * luxury. But for us, it was the most beautiful perfect stay There are sun beds paddle boards etc there for use. The staff do go an extra mile to ensure your stay is a good one.

Nothing loved it all

Location was amazing; our little wooden 'hong'/cabin was right on the lovely Saracen Beach. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help us. The breakfasts at the restaurant were excellent, and they have the best coffee in Cambodia! We expected the accommodation to be simple and basic, however we were very comfortable and everything was in good repair. We had been warned about electricity outages and loss of internet and wifi. This did happen, but it was for short periods only and did not affect our holiday. We work from our laptops for part of each day; this was possible, however we had problem with banking as could not receive OTP messages in the time frame required. If we return, we will invest in some local SIM cards and see if that solves the problem.

Nothing could be better. There are a few mosquitoes; but where is a tropical beach without them? The staff in most restaurants put burning coils under the tables at night and this really helped. Otherwise normal sprays and covering up worked as well as anywhere. Fans at night are a necessity, and aircon works a treat.

Absolutely everything was perfect - friendly staff, location of the villa just first line on the beach, comfortable king size bed, sofa on the balcony to have a drink watching the seа or reading a book listening sea waves, plenty of hot water in bathroom, perfect breakfast, a lot of fresh fruits every morning, unforgettable Mango smoothie for the afternoons, thank you Sokna Dom. Sol beach resort is located just in the middle of this side of the island and the sea water and the beach are clean, not such case on the edges of the island, where i think most ot the local people are living. Very safety island no problems to walk alone during night time. Sol beach resort doing their best for the tourists, highly recommend stay by me and believe me I’ve been in 74 countries up to now and slept in so many hotels around the world. Thank you Sol Beach Resort for the perfect stay and so many friends made from staff ❤️

No coffee/ tea cattle in villa but I didn’t ask for because i was bringing mine for a long stay. A little overpriced restaurant- the food quality is very good so just a polite advice to the management.

Perfect location, on a quiet strip of Saracen Bay but only 10 minute walk to restaurants. Lovely friendly staff who arranged a later check out and a place for us to shower before catching a late ferry. Good breakfast with various choices of western or Cambodian. Tree House style villa was great and despite being 2nd row had a lovely view of the sea.

A/C a little difficult in the upper floor of the tree house- didn’t really cool it. Sea water became brown in rainy season (from mountains) on this side of the island - but a 20 minute walk to Lazy Beach was easy to find clear water.

Located in a quiet part of Saracen Bay but within a 5 min walk of numerous shops, bars and restaurants for choice. This place is unreal! Stunning waterfront villas, spotlessly clean and well-appointed, we enjoyed nothing more than waking each morning, walking 20-30 metres and hitting the warm water first thing. Each villa has a hose out front to wash sandy feet, a lovely veranda with chair, table and couch to relax, decent air con inside, fridge, good showers, the list goes on.... On the beach, they provide sunloungers, hammocks and some free water sports equipment and are more than happy to arrange any additional tours. Food in the restaurant is very good, nice selection and well presented. Finally the staff.... Exceptional! Helpful at every turn, eager to assist and each encounter delivered with a genuine smile. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Overly critical here but maybe 1 or 2 more options (or variants) on the breakfast menu. Still no points deducted from me on this.
