Great cozy room. Family 2 adults, 1 toddler (2 years old). We stayed for two nights. 1) Nice room with two beds with an incredibly beautiful view of the mountains 2) Comfortable mattresses, clean and ironed linens, which is important for a comfortable sleep. 3) Mini fridge, availability of coffee maker, complimentary tea, coffee. 4) Presence of a cafe where you can have a meal. About the quality of food can not say, as we did not use the service. 5) Quick check-in and convenient quick check-out, no problems. 6) Great location, availability of parking, gas station, mini store (even bought milk for our baby there for $7...) 7) Good shower and acceptable plumbing

Very expensive, of course, but for lack of other options, it is understandable why such a price...

Staff throughout the motel, restaurant, gas station and gift shop were friendly and helpful. The room we were originally checked into had some kind of water/soap mess in one area of the carpet. When we reported it, someone came to the room immediately to investigate and promptly moved us to another room. Not even sure how they did this since their sign said "No Vacancy." The Icefields Parkway closed right at Saskatchewan River Crossing soon after we got there due to a wildlife to the north. I'm sure it was a hectic night for the staff, being the only service center in the area, but they remained cheerful and accommodating. We only stayed one night but came back the next evening for dinner. The all-you-can-eat buffet was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was great!

We enjoyed our time here immensely! It was a much needed escape from the city. All of the staff were absolutely wonderful and made our trip exceptional. We enjoyed our meals at bothe the restaurant and the Cafe. The pub was a great place to hang out in the evenings. We played some pool and indulged in some tasty hot chocolate as we are non drinkers.

Some people complain about the prices. While it is expensive, it is understandable that they would need to offset the fact that they have a lot of great staff who need to be paid as well as the fact that they only run 6 months of the year and need to make their money in that amount of time.

The room we had was small but suitable for the 2 of us. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small but manageable. WiFi is limited but OK for facebook & emails etc. The pub on site was great....However the food was a little pricey but it is what it is when in a remote area. We stayed at the Crossing due to the fires in Jasper, but we were ok with our stay here. Views from our balcony to the mountains were great.

Just the price of the meals...must be hard for families with a couple of kids Continental breakfast is around $20 + tax no doubt.

The location halfway between Jasper and Banff is great for those who need a stop or want to break their trip. The rooms are clean but need an update. Wifi was very slow. Most power outlets were too loose to hold a plug.

Both rooms and the surrounding facilities are too expensive for what they are. The rooms need an update. Bathrooms are clearly aged, the beds were too soft, power outlets so loose they wouldn't hold a plug, Wifi was slow. We didn't eat here because it was so expensive and ratings are low.

Wow, the views are incredible! Great location if you are on your way to Jasper from Banff- it is right on the Icefield Parkway. They have a gas station, convenience store, and pub on the property. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. Bed was comfortable with fresh linens. They have nice mini refrigerators and a TV. Great place to stay if you want to cut your trip time to Jasper in half. Was only here for a night and didn't get to have breakfast/coffee. It was easy to park.

We had a good experience at the Crossing overall. Having read other reviews we knew there is no WiFi in the rooms but there is a spacious and comfortable guest lounge with adequate WiFi and a laptop for shared use. The guest lounge also had table tennis and a really useful information area with their own detailed leaflets about hikes and other activities in the area. This was quite exceptional and a feather in their cap. The room we were in was quiet, comfortable and perfectly adequate. The furniture isn't new but fit for purpose with comfy chairs and a huge and comfy bed The bathroom was clean and worked well. The staff were without exception polite and helpful. The location on the Icefield Parkway is exceptional as is the view from any of the rooms.

We had booked a mountain facing room (in fact this wasn't really necessary as there are mountain views both sides of the motel) but we arrived late and had been allocated a room very near to the electrical generator which was extremely noisy. Fortunately we were able to move to a room at the other side of the premises where we couldn't hear it at all. This was a cheaper room and we were offered breakfast vouchers to compensate which we felt was fair. We had two evening meals and two breakfasts at the restaurant and would advise steering well clear of the buffets, especially in the evenings since it was the same both nights and lacked freshness and appeal. However dishes from the a la carte menu were much better.

The motel is in a convenient location. The views are nice and the staff are very friendly. There is a restaurant, pub, gift shop, full service gas station, and guest common area below the pub with couches, wifi, and a ping pong table. The rooms were surprisingly clean for a motel. It was nice having a shower with great water pressure. I would stay here again if passing through the area.

The photos do not match what it actually looks like. But it is a motel, so it is nicer than your typical motel room. In my opinion, having more realistic photos would possibly bump up the ratings a bit, because I think I would have gone in with different expectations and been pleasantly surprised. Overall, this is a good place to stay for the night.

View from our room was great! No microwave but there is coffee maker. No reception/signal or wifi in the room. You need to go to the pub if you need to use a wifi. Overprice foods and groceries so you better bring your own. We dont care about signals or wifi or microwave if we have a great view! We had cup noodles for dinner since no microwave we used the coffee maker to get hot water. It be nice if they have firepit out front, that be cozy. Overall, we love our stay and the view for the price its well worth it. Highly recommend.

The location was excellent - basically halfway between Jasper and Banff. The views were stunning. Our room was clean and comfortable but outdated. During our stay we did get to see a black bear on the premises and that was great.

The cost of food at this location's restaurant was very expensive. There was quite a large flight of stairs from the parking lot to reach our room which was challenging with luggage.
