This motel is literally steps away from the lagoon, it couldn’t be in a better spot. Harrison is delightful, with small friendly bars, cafes and shops and its Sasquatch vibe is a bonus! The lagoon is beautiful and there is a footpath right around it - the views are incredible, with water, mountains and eagles overhead. The motel room appeared to have been recently refurbished. It was very clean and the bed was fantastic! I had a TV, a fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. There is an upstairs patio with seating and parasols, and an ice cream shack adjacent. The guys in reception were chatty and friendly and organised my laundry to be done which was much appreciated. I loved this motel and the location, I’d definitely return.

The food at the Harrison Grand Motel Restaurant was so good I got flashbacks to when my poor mother would cook for my brothers and I. Maybe it’s the quality, or the taste, but if a homemade meal like that can bring a grown man to tears then hell yeah, I’ll be going back. The location is excellent, with the beach right in front of the motel, an ice cream bar literally right outside the motel, and it only really takes 5-10 minutes to walk anywhere interesting in Harrison.

Loved staying here for a long weekend. This is probably the best location you can get in town as it's literally in front of the lagoon and lake, and right in the middle of all the activities. It's a very walkable area with restaurants right next door, park right in front and the few activities that the town offers are within a 10 minute walk. They do offer free parking as well which was very welcome since the area generally has paid parking. The rooms themselves seem upgraded/renovated which was great. There were decently spacious with a sizeable bathroom as well. They included soap, shampoo, body wash but no other toiletries such as tooth brushes or paste. The staff at the front desk was very courteous and helpful and he managed to check us in a little earlier than the regular 3 pm thankfully. He also allowed us to park a couple of hours after the check out time which was very much appreciated. The Shaw cable box in our room did not work and he spent a good hour trying to get it to work for us, but it did not. Not their fault though, so I don't hold that against them even though it was bummer because I just wanted to put on some TV for my daughter.

Very comfortable bed and linens. The manager was very friendly and helpful. There was an excellent shared deck with tables, chairs and umbrellas overlooking the lake that made up for the room being advertised as a view room, but actually not having a view.

The room advertised microwave, fridge and kettle which was correct. However, it also was advertised as a kitchenette and did not have any other kitchenette features such as dishes, hot plate, or cooking utensils. It also is advertised as a view room and there was absolutely no view except of the parking lot.

We were one of the first to stay here after their major renovation. It is arguably now the most modern facility in Harrison and much better value than the overpriced "resort" in town which has become rather rundown and outdated. The new owner went the extra mile for us and the staff friendly. They basically went down to the studs and rebuilt the place from the bottom up, everything is new and includes fridge, micro, coffee maker etc. Modern, fresh, clean and each room has view of lake. Like I said, don't waste your money on the other tired hotels....if this one is available book it. Looking forward to staying here again once the restaurant and breakfast is open.

Good value for money. Convenient, clean, good facility. We booked the suite with 2 rooms. The size of the suite was able to accommodate our family of 8. We were able to cook some of our meals in order to save money because everything was provided. The motel was close to the restaurants and everything was walking distance from it. We felt welcomed and check in was quick and they even offered us free chocolates. We wild gladly recommend it to our friends.

Newly renovated, we went for a mom's one night weekend, we made full use of the kitchen, everyone had a bed, the beds were so comfortable and the sheets and linens were so soft! The location was great and the front desk and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

the place was so new there were a few little deficiencies. We ask for and got a dish towel, a broom, and the bedrooms could each use a mirror in them (did I mention it was a mom's weekend?)

Management and staff were amazing. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much. Kitchen was amazing and the shower was sooo good! Bed super comfortable and lots of privacy! Very close to beach and amenities. Top location. Really good experience.

Noise from the street - because of our room location (due to back bedroom window facing a road) - wasn’t bad but not sure how it would be in the summer. They have other suites that I’m sure don’t have this issue.

everything - beautiful location along the water. Such a quaint waterfront village. The hotel was located in the perfect location. The owner, Arash went above and beyond to be accommodating. He was so friendly and kind and has such great advice of where to eat, and what to see. It was an excellent stay I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the area, wanting a place to lodge.
