This is the second time we have stayed at Ranchland over the passed week( when we started our trip and on our way back). For the price, you cannot beat it! me and my friend(who has Down syndrome) and our pup were in a safe, clean, comfortable room. The owner is very friendly, works hard, and even upgraded us despite my error when booking;he made sure the tv was on and the air conditioner was going. The bedding was clean. The room has no smell. And we enjoyed the large flatscreen tv. I have stayed in many of Merritt motels and I have to say it’s a nice place that doesn’t break the pocket -which I’m grateful given how expensive life is right now.

The owners are extremely friendly and eager to ensure their guests happiness. We came into town after a long day, and the owner awaited us at the front door and insured. Everything was perfect for us, including coming to our room to ensure we were satisfied and bringing us a couple of extra towels. we got a unit that was like a suite with a separate bedroom with a queen bed and then in the open space there were two double beds, along with a full stove and refrigerator with microwave and a sink. The room was clean. If you were looking for modern and all the fancy amenities, this might not be your place but for a basic stay, this place is perfect! Could not ask for nicer people to deal with. The owner and his partner were the highlight for us. We found it to be quiet and comfortable. Thank you for a great stay.

Very clean and spacious family suite. Apartment size fridge and stove, great to cook our own meals in an actual kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. Updated rooms. It was really amazing for the price. I felt safe leaving my vehicle in the lot. The host was welcoming and funny. There was a slight language barrier, but it was easy to navigate. 10 out of 10 will book here again.

Pack your own shampoo and conditioner.

The front desk agent was helpful and quickly got us checked in. You definitely get your money's worth with this location. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and had all the amenities. After driving non-stop from Arizona on our way to Alaska it was a great stop and we had a restful sleep.

The beds were a little hard, would have been nice to have a softer bed after being in the car for so long.

It was exceptionally clean and well looked after for its age. It’s a very cute little place with the best value I’ve found in Merritt. I stayed for two nights and chatted with the owners, they’re very sweet and attentive, and went above and beyond for us by letting us check in early when we were extremely tired. I highly recommend this little gem!

Had to get extra toilet paper and they didn't have enough auger and coffee cream for the coffee

The owner is very nice and doesn't bother you. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very relaxing.

The room was a little bit cold when 1st entered but warmed up nicely.

Staff were nice and accommodated late check in. It’s not a trendy modern place but our room was clean and the bed was nice and comfy. Wife and I have pretty high expectations And for a motel on the go this worked just fine.

Clean room!! Dishes available ( I was able to eat my bagged salad). Also the TV had ALL the major channels, wIfi was good. The bed was comfortable and ( surprisingly) higher quality sheets than one might expect for a roadside motel. There was a fridge that I didn’t use. Very Quiet ! Window that opened wide, with a screen.

There was plug in air freshener. It was a bit of a perfume blast initially. I unplugged it and with the door and window open all was good!

Really everything you could ask for. I would like to see a couple more pillows in the room but other that it was great.
