I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was perfect for what I needed at my price range. I got a much larger room than I even needed and it was clean and comfortable. I liked its location, close to many food options and just off the main highway. It felt safe, and the 24-hour staff at the front desk and lighting plus surveillance made me feel like the things in my car were secure. The hotel was very communicative and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

It smelled a bit, especially around the pool area (which wasn’t open but that’s okay as they have plenty of warning about this). The room felt like it could use some updating. The fridge was VERY loud at night, which didn’t bother me much as I could sleep through it but if you don’t do well with loud noises this would probably bother you.

I travel to see family from Ontario, and this was the second year I have stayed here in my way to Ontario from Edmonton and on my way home. It’s great location, great for the value and very comfortable beds.

The only issue I ever had was the last time I stayed and there was a confusion about towels. The staff member had thought I taken one (I didn’t) and it forced me to leave one of my expensive towels behind to replace a towel I didn’t take. I spoke to a manger after and it was handled and she was great about it.

The staff were friendly and accommodating which was very much appreciated under the circumstances of my stay. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which saved me going elsewhere by cab to eat. When I needed a taxi, the staff were always good enough to assist with this as well. Loved the hot tub, was very hot, helped me to unwind after a long day.

The jets on the hot tub weren’t working but the tub was hot enough not to need them.

It was a bit strange when we pulled up as the front desk area appeared to be locked and a sign said go through another door. Followed the signs and came to a room that appeared to be a temporary setup. There was someone on the phone who completely ignored me and I waited until someone else came in. Got registered no problem and received the keys for the room. The person gave me verbal instructions on how to find the room but to be honest it was a bit of a maze but finally found it. Once there opened the outside door for access. Room did really exceed my expectations. There was a connected Chicken Chef where we had take out. Quiet room, very comfortable.

There could have been better signage for what looked like renovations for the front lobby and explanation or apology from staff for the temporary setup.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. After checking out, we chose to have lunch in the restaurant and enjoyed a relaxed meal. And, always a plus for us, we enjoyed a morning dip in the pool although, it did close quite early in the evening, 8:00pm, just before our arrival. We will definitely stay here again.

There was no complementary continental breakfast and the pool closed too early for us to use it after arriving.

It is on a main route, not far from shopping and the university. There is also a pool with waterslide and hot tub and some exercise equipment. A Chicken Chef is onsite as well as a bar and beer vendor.

Some of the common areas looked aged but that’s a small criticism, it was difficult to find something to not like.

Although the room’s window faces a road, but it was quiet inside at night. And there is a park behind the Travelodge, it is good for a tired driver to have a walk. If you like Chinese food, the Lee’s buffet is a good choice for a dinner.

The sheet on the bed was damp, maybe the prior guest turned the air conditioner too low. So I suggest they open the window when the room is empty.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice and well appointed with all the accessories, including a hair dryer and clean. Also, FINALLY a hotel with adequate lighting!

Stairs to get there were a bit difficult for my older friend, although the hand rails helped.

The room was large TV and Internet was good Bed was very comfy good pillows There was grit on the floor the front mat hadn't been cleaned maybe due to all of the construction in the road close to the Travelodge however regular cleaning /sweeping outside would be beneficial All in all good value for $ Close to eating places chicken restaurant on site Would stay again

Need two bedside reading lamps
