Perfect location. Room very nicely appointed and included a couch, small fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Enough dishes and cutlery to handle a small breakfast or lunch if you did not want to eat out. Plenty of dining out options in the immediate vicinity. The Inn also has a restaurant/ pub though they do not serve breakfast, but not an issue with so many other choices for breakfast a few steps away. Nice area for walking and a parking area provided for guests. It was a quiet area, people in this town are overall very friendly and staff as well.

Location is smack in the middle of town. My room was at the side of the building overlooking a small park area and the Town Hall so not as much street noise as those at the front. Powerful air conditioning- I stayed during a heatwave Microwave & fridge 2 bottles of water provided Good lighting and water pressure in the bathroom

Not the hotel’s fault but parking can be a challenge. There is private parking at the side of the building but I imagine from May to September or any time the hotel is full it would not be adequate.

I booked my stay last minute on my way back home to Vermont. Everything about my stay was an absolute delight! Especially when I arrived, as the kitchen of the pub just closed, but they quickly put an order in for me which was very appreciated, as I was running behind my travel schedule and hadn't had time to stop for dinner. It was the best fish and chips I remember ever having! Saint Andrews is a lovely little town and I am glad I made the slight detour from my route to experience it. I look forward to visiting again. The Kennedy House is the perfect location to explore the village.

The staff here is amazing. Margot was phenomenal as well as Dominique (the owner). Everyone here was fantastic. Their restaurant is top notch. The lobster dinner was so good, my fiance and I indulged twice in one week. After returning to Ontario, we haven't been able to find a better tasting Moscow Mule! We really enjoyed the history of the building as well as the layout of reception. The location is perfect. Our experience was so great, we will be returning!

Some rooms have air conditioning, others do not. Call the hotel prior to booking if any of the negative reviews are stopping you from staying at the Kennedy House. It is likely your concerns can easily be addressed by the right room.

we had the large room at the top and to the front of the property and it was quite nice to sit at the windows and watch the activity on the street and with the windows open a nice breeze from the waterfront. There was live entertainment in the bar area as well as in the square across the street that we could watch and hear from our room. The location was great right on main street and walking distance to the pier to catch our whale watching tour=we recommend The Jolly Breeze whale tour with Captain Teo and his pirate crew

no breakfast was offered and we left earlier than restaurant was open.

The location cannot be beat! It's perfect. Central and walking distance to all of downtown and the waterfront. The hotel itself is very charming and historic. Our room and private bath were decently appointed, with a desk, mini kitchen, bar fridge (which we had to defrost), microwave, and multiple fans (because there isn't AC).

I only have small things to comment on. The volume on the TV didn't work, couldn't get the sound to work. There are multiple carpets on the floor and they've been screwed down, but we've caught our toes on the screws several times in one night. The bed doesn't need a foot board because it just takes up room and becomes another thing to catch a toe on. Obviously we're both accident prone because we've each supped our toes several times during our one night stay.

it would have been great if the small ramp on the left side of the Inn was smooth, and no rickety boards for my frail mom to walk down. Also, the umbrellas on the outer tables convey a 'bar' atmosphere, not fitting with the character of the Inn. If the umbrellas were a solid color, in line w/ the charm of the house, it would convey a more appropriate image.

Must stay hotel!! My stay at Kennedy House will be a lifetime memorable experience, for me at least. Excellent location, cozy old architecture feel, wonderful staff, bar & restaurant in-house. Kennedy House is a great cozy place to stay for the travellers to town or whale watching 🐋. Reservation, check-in & check-out was easy. Best rooms, best bar & restaurant service and the recreation area. The staff were at their best. Pass my thanks again to all your staff. Cheers!!!

Location is fantastic on the Main Street overlooking centre square to the harbor. Sit on the veranda having diner while the sun is setting. Afterwards a casual drink in the bar.

The month of May in St.Andrews is still variable we went from 12 degrees to 24 degrees. As of June would be nice weather all day I think.

The building is charming and in an excellent location. The beds were clean, and super comfortable with good quality sheets. Our room had a nice view of the water.

The carpet in our room was quite old. Staff were very friendly but extremely busy so not available to help with smaller issues. I'm sure they would have made themselves available for something that was actually important
