Nice view of the river; large, exceptionally clean and new facilities; large, clean common kitchen with all utensils and appliances (good place to talk with other travelers)--very useful given the paucity of quality eating establishments in town; inexpensive washer and dryer ($1.25 CAD); across the street from the only non-fast-food restaurant in town and near a pond with hiking trail; management very responsive via email and easy to reach by phone; good location as jump-off point to Bonavista peninsula and Terra Nova National Park

Management made an error and booked another guest in our room. At 10:30 pm while we were in bed they used their code to enter our room which woke us up and gave us quite a scare. We called management the next morning and they apologized for the error, but nevertheless one wonders how this could have happened. Guests must be sure to bring EVERYTHING with them that they might need in the kitchen. The only supplies (besides coffee filters, sugar, and creamer) are items that other guests may have left by chance. There are three supermarkets right in town within a few minutes' drive.

The property was easy to find and the setting (right on the water) was pleasant. The contactless entry went very smoothly and the property was very clean and well kept despite the lack of in person staff. We appreciated the availability of laundry facilities.

Suggest adding vending machine for laundry detergent and drier sheets. It's hard to find small amounts of such while traveling.

Location

Renovation. We understand the need to renovate however there were areas of the floor where the rug was being replaced. These areas were covered in glue with no warning signs. For a person carrying luggage it was easy to miss seeing the wet floor..

Clean and comfortable room. Accessable location, right on the water, close to shopping and restaurants. Common kitchen/ dining area, equipped for those wishing to prepare a meal. Be sure to clean up after yourself, the kitchen is equipped for that as well. I enjoyed my stay, feeding the ducks next door.

Large rooms which are accessible - I was on the main floor. I liked that I had a room with easy access to where I had parked my motorcycle overnight. Checkin was very straight forward - received clear instructions and process was quick and easy.

The room was very spacious having a sofa and 2 chairs in the room. The central kitchen was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils. The location is right on the water and was less expensive than the hotels on the highway.

Nice comfy rooms. Clean, updated with full common use kitchen. No staff. They email you a code to get in. Very quiet and safe. Sit out back at the water. Ducks, geese and other wildlife will swim up to see you.

Squeekie door hinges. Seems to be a problem at all the places we stayed. Easily fixed though. Hello maintenance.

Cozy, up to date rooms located in a quiet part of town, with an awesome view.

My only complaint, and it's not really complaint, is that the beds are too soft for my liking...lol...just a personal preference.

I liked the location in Clarenville. convenient to the highway for travelling purposes and close to grocery stores and attractions such as Trinity. you do need a car. We also liked that it had a common kitchen area as well as laundry that one could use. the staff were really nice. funny and personable.

the only complaint was our mattress.

We were really happy to have access to a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The room was very large, also had a heat pump which is great for cooling.

Maybe new carpet, otherwise no complaints.
